Make sure you go back to Euromarina developers and show your concern with security as there have been numerous break ins in the past couple of years. They promise secure gated community but where is it.

We as a community are having to fund gates on phase one be warned. We are hoping euromarina will pay eventually and require more people to bring this matter to there attention.

Obviously as a new buyer to Puerto Marina I am anxious to read about the security problems.  Is it a particular type of apartment that is involved, such as ground floor, facing the road - or is it random.  We are buying a ground floor facing the pool, right in the centre of the complex, so we should be highly visible (I hope).

I will certainly speak to Euromaring about what we have read when we go over for the completion.  I just don't want to spoil the excitement we are feeling just now as we are going to complete in April.

We are told by Euromarina that the complex would eventually have a wall built all round with gates in at certain points. But from what I read this does not seem to be the case.

We have just come back from los alcazares puerto marina and it is coming along really nice,no further security problems encountered.

euromarina have fitted gates at the front and back of the pool entrances but more work is needed, at the moment the gates are not locked,

is your apartment the one with the garden done with slopes for wheelchair access if so it looks great.

the only thing was the patio doors were not locked at the front which means anyone can get in.may be worth having a word with them.

hope everthing goes ok and that you enjoy it as much as we do

Great to read your post.  Yes, ours is the one with the wheelchair ramps.  My husband is a wheelchair user and that is why we bought the apartment directly in front of the pool.  A bit concerned about our doors being left open - were there workmen around at the time - or were they left open all day?  We are going over on the 7th, to complete on 11th April.  Are you in phase 2 or 1? At least you will recognise us when you see us now!!! The wheelchair is a give away!!! Mind you I think my 8 year old son jumping off our terrace into the pool might catch your eye too!!!

Thanks again

We have had a top floor apartment on phase one for the last two years bought from new and are very pleased with the outcome of the complex. The local area is great for everything as is the beach front with its bars and eating establishments.Your apartment was left open at the weekend and there were no workmen around but i will say this seems to be normal, its just that your so close to completing you would have thought they would be more carefull.

We have made so many friends since we have been there and everyone seems so friendly its probably the drink that does that! anyway enjoy your stay and crack a bottle or two of champers on the day of moving, you will not regret buying here.

Thanks! It's always re-assuring to hear good reports of the place.  We only had a very short visit to Los Alcazares and uncharacteristically made a quick decision to buy there. The main reason we opted for it was the accessability of the area and the fact we could stroll to the sea in the evening.  It turned into quite a joke when we looked at other properties we would say 'What do you do in the evening?'  Some places seemed isolated or we would have needed to drive to get anywhere.

One week to go and we will be there!! Can't wait
