LOOKING FOR OFFICE SPACE, SHOWROOM, WAREHOUSE ?

Has anybody done snagging before completion.  Our Lawyer says that by Law you are not entitled to do this before completion.  Has anyone been told this too, is this true?  We think this is very unfair.  We are awaiting for completion on block 5.

Can anyone recommend a good snagging company?

We were told the same thing by the developers, our lawyers and our agent, so I guess it must be so.

We have been in touch with Roy Howitt of InspectaHomeSpain who in turn put us in touch with PSI ( www.propertysi.com)

We haven't used them yet as like you, we are awaiting completion on a Block 5 apartment, but they seem pretty switched on. The only thing we are querying with them is whether they follow-up the initial snagging to ensure that the work is done.

I take it that, like us, you are marooned in the UK and are having to do everything remotely?

We engaged BridgeHomes for snagging in block 5.  The company say they are having problems with the builders who will not allow precompletion snagging.  Their experience is that other builders do allow this. I understand from an owner of a block 2 apeartment that there were many snagging issues to resolve.  We are visiting site next week though whether we get to see the property seems debatable!!.
