Hi Everyone

I have just purchased a property at Villas Del Palmeral Guardamar on Phase 4.  I would love to hear from anyone who has purchased in this development and any advise etc they may have to offer.   Active have informed me that the building of this phase will commence in approx. a months time.  I would love to hear from anyone who has already completed a purchase in this development in any of the first 3 phases and who has maybe already moved in.  Thank you and I look forward to hopefully hearing from you all, take care Lorraine

It is so good to hear from you.  I wish it was my puppy but sadly it isn't.  I downloaded this picture from the internet because the files of my photos of Roly were too big to use.  I have to wait until I go back to live in Spain to be able to get another dog.  I just can't wait.  I really love your little guy !.  How is everything going with your new house in Spain I bet it's just the biz and is it nearly ready ?  You must be so excited now.  Have you any pictures that you may be able to email me ? 

Would love to meet up for a chat and a few drinks when you can.  Take care and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Hi Lorraine, tried to PM you but you dont appear to have got it.

I will be out in Spain next month and will try and get a start date for Phase IV for you, if you want. Phase III is due to be signed over Sept/Oct, so we will be back out again at that time. After that we will be back and fore, so can send you photos once they start building.

Dont have your private email address,  so if you want to email it to me I'll send any information to that one.

We are considering the purchase on this development, we already have property at Punta Prima (Apartment), can anyone tell me more about the area (only been to La Marina beach side), quality of build, is the builder on time for completion, plus any other info would be a great help.

Good to hear from you.  I really don't know much about the area myself but I am going over in August and will be spending some time in Guardamar and La Marina so when I get back I will be able to tell you all about it.  I have recently been told that La Marina is by all accounts a really lovely place.  I have a property in Torrevieja but I have bought a property in this new development in Phase IV.  This has a completion date for early Spring 2008 but unfortunately I don't have any information on the previous completion times for the earlier phases.  But a friend of mine has purchased a property in Phase III and they hope to complete in Sept/Oct this year.

I really loved the properties when I went to view them in January and that is when I decided to buy one but I had been looking at literature for quite a while. The properties I viewed are detached although I will say that they are built very close together but you still have your own little space.

I will find out as much information as I can when I go over in August.

HI Lorraine, many thanks for the info, I am back in Spain in August, so will probably take a drive out there to have a look.  The properties do look nice, but as you say they are close together.  The only other problem we have now is selling our apartment, as the resale market seems to have slowed up quite a bit!

Do all the properties in your phase come with a pool?

Nice to hear from you again and you are very welcome.  I am in the same position as you at the moment I am trying to sell my current property in Torrevieja and the market is very slow at present.  All the properties in this development do not have private pools but there is a community pool in each development.  Good luck when you go to Spain in August and have a great time.

Lets keep our fingers crossed that we can sell our properties really soon.
