I thought you may all be interested in knowing that there is a lower electricity tariff available (similar to Economy 7 in UK), called Discriminacion Horaria, which offers 14 hours of cheap rate electricity from 11pm to 1pm following. The saving is quite considerable, ie half price and certainly worth considering for rental properties, particularly those with air con.
We, together with many of our neighbours have changed over to the scheme, and we have saved 50e on the last bill already. We're with Iberdrola but I believe many of the other suppliers also offer the scheme.
Well worth considering!
