I am positive about the property Spanish market. I believe it's still a good one for investors and people who want to have a place in Spain. The good point of the current crisis is that prices still have a way to drop. Probably we will see better opportunities for everybody.

Today is the presentation of a new book on property in Spain. Borja Mateo is the author and the title is “La Verdad Sobre El Mercado Inmobiliario Español” –The truth about the Spanish property market.

The book is somehow controversial since the author discourages buyers to buy now (it is better to wait a couple of years because the prices will improve) and also he underlines that Developers, Government and Banks created the credit crunch in Spain.

I am pretty sure that we will find a stable return on property investments, but for that it is important to know where to buy and at what price. The spanish real estate market is very international and that gives us a much bigger possibility fo reselling our property investment in the future. Investing in property in Spain will always be interesting. There is a lot of property for sale you need good advice to find the right investment oportunities and you will be fine.

Hello, I agree with you to one extent. The Spanish market is very interesting for home buyers and investors. But the ROI reselling the property will take now many years unless you buy prime asset. I believe Buy to Let is now the right option until prices rise again. But as I said, I think it will take a few years.
