PRUNA - SEVILLE

The community is ''pulling together'' to promote this beautiful village as part of the Via Verde De La Sierra ''green route'' The Via Verde is a 43.5 KM route along a disused railway line from Puerto Serrano Cadiz to Pruna. On April 28th The Local Spanish & Expat Community are walking , cycling and riding horses the entire distance (equal to a 27 Mile marathon) We also have paricipaints from other parts of Spain & the wider european community. INFORMATION
 
1) The route is approxmatly 43.5 km / 27 milesand can be walked or riden on bicycle or on horseback.
2) The first ''Walk for Pruna'' is in aid of the New Pruna Youth Centre
3) It is a sponsored event and it is hoped that all participaints raise sponsorship money in aid of this years good cause.
4) For every € 1 raised the Town Hall of Pruna has pledged to add € 1 to the sponsorship fund.
5) An entrance fee of €5 is to be paid by each participant - this paid at cajasol bank account 2106-0510-74-0101006011
You must also register on the Ayuntamiento de Pruna website www.pruna.es or www.fundacionviaverdedelasierra.com - BEFORE April 10th
6) When paying the Entrance fee please advise the receiver of the size of T Shirt you require
7) Date of Event is 28/4/12
8) Coach transport will be available from Pruna to Puerto Serrano and will return to Puerto Serrano at the end of the event fo participants starting there.
9) Timings
7.00 Coach departs Pruna
7.30 Reception at Start in Puerto Serrano Train Station on Via Verde
8.00 Event Starts
13.00 Reception at El Penon Zamframagon (Visitors Centre) Light Lunch
prepared by Chefs from Olvera College
18.30 Celebration Reception at Pruna again prepared by Chefs from Olvera College
20.00 Coach return trip to Puerto Serrano for required participants
10) Cyclists must wear protective headwear
11) Whilst refreshments will be available throughout the route it is advised that participants take a supply
12) The participants must follow instructions as issued by the event marshalls
and respect the enviroment.
13) An Ambulance, Support vehicles and a physiotherepist will be available throughout the event
14) The Particpants are taking part entirely at their own risk.
15) When registering for the event particpants accept the event rules.
16) Participants must be over 10 years old and any participant under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
17) Any Participant under 18 years old must have Parent or Guardian permission
