I'd say play safe for at least two years, all those "False" Euros and $'s with have a bad effect on the whole economy this year. And for sure the banks still have lots of secrets .

I think that it has reached rock bottom and a few are making purchases (well here in Fuerteventura) There will still be some people that have to off load so some bargains will be had! But on the whole things are looking a lot better here in Fuerteventura

It's all about confidence and this is definately returning. Good property in good locations will always hold value, it's just the speed of growth that has slowed. The cheaper bargains are cheap for a reason.

Just be careful buying property anywhere in the world at present , nobody knows what 2010 has in store for the markets, could be a stormy passage so why hurry into any transaction's , wait till the storm settles

Spanish builders/developers were too greedy and should/are now paying for their greed. Our builder/developer is not interested in carrying out any repair work, even though it is clearly bad workmanship

We've bought one repo for 19000 euros (Mid terrace townhouse that needs some TLC), looking at everything, homes to Parking places up to 30000 euros.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY MORE THAN 30000 EUROS IN THIS MARKET, Just have your wits with you.

Too much for sale and now they have restarted the building work! Even more property on the market...even lower prices. Tony...where did you buy a place for 19000 euros? Must be inland...how far inland do we have to go to find one?
