The Town Hall of Torrevieja has pioneered a scheme in conjunction with local bus operator ‘Costa Azul’ that entitles local residents of all ages, who are on the ‘padron’ to the free use of urban buses within the municipality.
To obtain a pass go to the office of transportation Torrevieja. Calle Gregorio Marañon no 3 , downstairs ( next to Mapfre office)
You will need to produce:
Your certificate of Empadronamiento (Padron)
Your Passport or Resident’s Card /Certification
An attendant will enter the information required for your Bus Pass onto the computer. A photograph of you will be taken by the office.
You will be told when to return to collect your bus pass
