FICTIONAL STORIES OF THE LIVES OF THE GHOSTS ENCOUNTERED, BASED ON THE INFORMATION THEY GAVE ME.

The Four-poster Bed
Wednesday, August 30, 2023

This is a fictional story based on the information received during Space Clearing

In the early 1900s, there lived a man named Luis. He was known for his flamboyant personality and a grandiose belief that he was as important as King Henry VIII of England. Luis was not a king by any means, but he carried himself as if he were royalty, wearing lavish attire and demanding the utmost respect from those around him.

Despite his eccentricities, Luis was a well-liked figure. The townspeople found his antics entertaining, and they humoured his regal fantasies to avoid any conflict. They knew that he meant no harm and was simply seeking a sense of importance in a world that often overlooked him.

One day, Luis announced that he was holding a grand banquet at his residence, a charming Victorian mansion on the outskirts of town. The townspeople received beautifully crafted invitations, complete with a wax seal bearing a stylised "L."

Excitement buzzed through the town as everyone prepared for the much-anticipated event. People dressed in their finest attire, eager to experience a taste of the royal life, if only for a night.

As the guests arrived at Luis's mansion, they were greeted with the sight of servants clad in period costumes, holding trays of hors d'oeuvres. The dining room was adorned with luxurious tapestries, and a majestic four-poster bed was placed at the head of the long dining table, serving as Luis's "throne."

Luis, resplendent in a royal crimson robe, entered the room to the sound of trumpets. He took his seat on the four-poster bed, revelling in the attention and admiration he received from his guests.

Throughout the evening, Luis held court, regaling the guests with stories of his supposed royal lineage and his grand achievements. The guests played along, pretending to be members of his royal court, and the night was filled with laughter and merriment.

As the evening wore on, Luis's excitement grew, and he stood up on the four-poster bed to deliver a grand speech. But fate had something different in store. The old bed, weakened by age and the weight of its occupant, gave way beneath Luis's weight.

The room fell into stunned silence as Luis tumbled to the ground. The guests rushed to his aid, but it was clear that he was badly injured. The town was filled with a mixture of shock and concern. The whimsical event had taken a tragic turn, and the townspeople realised the fragility of human life, no matter how grand or ordinary one's beliefs.

Luis's condition worsened. The townspeople, who had once played along with his royal delusions, visited him with genuine affection, remembering the joy he had brought to their lives.

On a quiet morning, Luis peacefully passed away in a different bed. The town mourned the loss of their larger-than-life friend, and the mansion he had once filled with imaginary courtiers now stood in silent solitude.

As the years passed, the mansion fell into disrepair, and the memory of Luis's eccentricities slowly faded away. Yet, in the hearts of the townspeople, he lived on as the man who had taught them to embrace their quirks and to find joy in the ordinary moments of life. And though Luis never became a king, his spirit of grandeur and merriment lingered in the tales and laughter, echoing through the generations.

I highly recommend trying El Palacete.

El Palacete - 2
Wednesday, August 23, 2023

El Palacete was a big job and an honour to carry out. As I moved to the bedrooms the information coming through changed. I did get a message from a young woman in one room, wanting me to pass on to the owner how wonderfully the property had been renovated and how she appreciated all the care and attention to detail that had gone into this place. She was just passing through and not a fixture to the building.

The other information I received was from furniture and not the building itself. The ancient chest of drawers showed me babies sleeping soundly in its bottom drawer and brought a feeling of calm and peace to the room.

In contrast, the four-poster bed showed a large bully of a man, he had aspirations to be like Henry the Eighth. Fat, bad-mannered and selfish beyond belief. He died from his excesses in the bed. Then there was the woman in childbirth who also died in the bed. I felt the bed had been out of use for a number of years maybe even decades, and the owner confirmed this. The bed is now clear of all the negative energy and as with every room and bed in the property is programmed to give the best night’s sleep to all those who lay their heads on the pillows.

The last bedroom had a darker feel about it, it became clear that the energy was coming from a prayer stool in the corner of the room. It was imprinted with young boys being hit round the head with a bible. I think at some point it had been used in an all-boys school. It was emanating fear and anger.

I am looking forward to the day when I space clear a property and the priest is kind and caring. It seems the only ones who hang around are not what you would call God-faring men!

Clearing the main part of El Palacete took me around six hours and two days to recover from. Would I do it again or a simpler property? in a heartbeat.

I still had an attached apartment to do, my next blog (after the fictional story) will be what happened there, and it will really be worth a read!

I highly recommend trying El Palacete.

Rosa
Wednesday, August 16, 2023

This is a fictional story based on the information received during Space Clearing

In the quaint Spanish town of Cuevas del Almanzora, two once-abandoned buildings were given new life as “El Palacete Hotel." It had been lovingly restored by a woman named Emma, who had always dreamt of owning a boutique hotel. Little did she know that the hotel came with an unexpected guest—a benevolent ghost named Rosa.

Rosa had once been the proprietor of a small inn that stood not far from the spot where El Palacete now stands. In life she had admired Emma’s courage and determination and was overjoyed when she saw the way she was lovely restoring these two long-abandoned houses. As the years past Rosa watched Emma from a distance, speaking to her in the street but not forming a close relationship. However, when old age finally took over Rosa’s body, she decided that her spirit would linger on, bound to the woman she respected so much and her dream. She has been guarding her ever since.

As Emma opened the doors of the newly refurbished hotel to guests for the first time, she felt a sense of excitement and trepidation. The stories of the hotel being haunted had spread through the town, but Emma chose to believe that there was more to it than just spooky tales.

On the first night, as the guests settled into their rooms, Rosa’s presence made itself known. Instead of the expected fright, the guests felt a reassuring presence, as if a guardian angel were watching over them. They heard whispers of comfort in the wind, and the flickering candle flames seemed to dance in response to the ethereal presence.

Emma was initially cautious about mentioning the ghost to her guests, unsure of how they would react. But as the days turned into weeks, she couldn't help but notice how El Palacete earned a reputation for providing an otherworldly sense of protection and warmth.

The staff at the hotel quickly grew accustomed to Rosa’s presence. They noticed that she had a peculiar fondness for the rocking chair in the lobby. Often, the chair would be seen softly rocking backwards and forwards.

One evening, when a powerful storm raged outside, the hotel lost electricity. Panic filled the air as guests huddled in the lobby, clutching their belongings. But then, as if in response to their distress, the radio began to play a soothing tune. The frightened faces turned to expressions of wonder, and the guests took comfort in the eerie yet beautiful music that filled the room.

As Emma stood beside the rocking chair, she felt a calming presence around her. In her heart, she knew that Rosa was watching over them, using her spectral abilities to provide light and warmth during the storm.

From that day onward, the ghostly protector became an endearing part of the hotel's identity. Guests came from far and wide, drawn to the allure of the hotel's enchanting ambience and the unique experience of staying under the watchful gaze of a friendly ghost.

Rosa’s presence not only protected the guests but also seemed to bless the hotel with prosperity. The El Palacete became renowned as a place of solace and rejuvenation. As the years passed, the tale of the ghostly gatekeeper spread beyond Cuevas, turning the hotel into a destination for those seeking a touch of magic and mystery in their travels.

Emma often spoke to Rosa, expressing her gratitude for the spirit's guardian role. She felt a sense of kinship with the ghost, knowing that they were both fulfilling their dreams together—one in life, the other in the afterlife.

And so, Rosa, the benevolent ghost, continued to watch over the El Palacete, protecting Emma's dream and ensuring that guests found not only comfort and rest but also a connection to the ethereal world that lies just beyond the veil of reality.

I highly recommend trying El Palacete.

El Palacete - 1
Friday, August 11, 2023

El Palacete de Cuevas del Almanzora is a stunning 19th-century rural boutique house. What a privilege it was to be asked to space clear this wonderfully renovated hotel.
The owner has given me permission to share with you the information that came up whilst I was space-clearing it.
The property still had secrets to share even though the energy had been changed hugely due to the love and respect it had been shown with the renovations.

As I entered, I was greeted by a spirit lady. She told me her name was Rose which I questioned as she was clearly Spanish. It turned out her name was Rosa. I find it fascinating that spirits always communicate with me in English, even though I speak Spanish. However, this was the first time I had one change their name to an English name!
Rosa informed me that she was the gatekeeper. She made sure that nothing negative could enter the property. She told me that she was very loosely connected to the owner and that the owner may not even remember her. When the owner first moved to the area they used to say hello to each other as they passed in the street and nothing more than that. Rosa was so impressed by the young lady and what she was doing with El Palacete that she had taken it upon herself to protect them both. It was really lovely and if you should visit, say hello to Rosa sitting in the entrance in the old rocking chair. She loves nothing more than being acknowledged.

As I moved through the hotel, the energy changed and I was confronted by a very angry priest. He was very upset that I was there, standing in front of me shouting how I was doing the devil's work. By now you know that this is not the case and I only ever work for the highest good of all. It took me a while to move him on, but he no longer brings his negative and bullying energy into the place. Interestingly, he was very stuck in one area, and it appeared that Rosa was preventing him access to the rest of the building.
In a small corner, which at some time would have been part of a corridor, there was the memory of a young boy cowering in the corner. I got the strong feeling that he was hiding from the priest I had just encountered.
It appeared that at some point, what would have been two or three houses had been strongly attached to the church. I could not make out if the boy was some sort of servant or not, but I expect he was.
As I moved upstairs, there were no other spirits just imprints of memories. In one room there was a lady dressed in white, standing by the window, crying. She was waiting for the son who had been taken from her to join the church to return. It reminded me of the historic scenes of women waiting for a ship to return from sea after a storm! The next area had a well-to-do lady, in what appeared to have once been very expensive clothes from the time when the house had just been built. The impressions I got were that she had fallen into financial hardship, and furniture and jewellery was sold in order for her to keep up appearances. It was a sad scene, of non-acceptance.

I highly recommend trying this beautiful place out.
They also have a fantastic vegetarian/vegan restaurant ‘The Happy Herbivore’ I was honoured to be invited to a tasting session. The food is out of this world.

The Fire
Wednesday, August 2, 2023

This is a fictional story based on the information received during Space Clearing

John struggled with feelings of isolation, anxiety, and depression, which only seemed to worsen with time. In the depths of his anguish, he found solace in one thing - a small, dimly lit bedroom where he retreated from the world.

John's bedroom was a reflection of his inner turmoil. Tattered posters adorned the walls, and scattered papers revealed his unfinished dreams. The room's clutter mirrored the chaos within his mind, a tumultuous storm that seemed impossible to quell.

One cold winter night, as the snowflakes danced gently outside his window, John sat alone in his room, staring into the flickering flame of a single candle. He felt the weight of his despair pressing down on him, suffocating his spirit. In that moment, he wished for something, anything, to change.

John reached for a cigarette, a habit he had picked up as an ill-advised coping mechanism. With trembling hands, he lit it using the candle's flame, the ember casting eerie shadows across the room. He took a deep drag, the smoke swirling around him like the haunting ghosts of his past.

As he exhaled, a wayward ember from the cigarette fell onto a pile of forgotten papers. Unbeknownst to John, the tiny spark ignited a small fire, which quickly started to spread. The room, once a sanctuary of isolation, became a place of danger.

At first, John was oblivious to the flames growing around him. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice the smoke filling the air or the crackling sounds of imminent danger. But eventually, the room's fiery transformation broke through the haze of his thoughts, and panic seized him.

Realising the danger he was in, John's survival instincts kicked in. He rushed to grab a nearby blanket, attempting to smother the flames, but it was too late. The fire had gained strength, licking at the walls and spreading its fingers across the room.

Fear gripped John's heart as he realised he couldn't control the inferno he had unknowingly ignited. Frantically, he stumbled towards the door, his mind racing with thoughts of escape and the safety of his neighbours.

Outside, the snow continued to fall, and the neighbourhood remained blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding within the walls of John's room. But amidst the turmoil, an unexpected realisation began to dawn on John.

As he stood there, watching the fire devour everything he had held dear, he understood that the flames represented not only destruction but also a chance for rebirth. In that bedroom, he had been confronted with the consequences of his actions, a mirror to his own inner turmoil made manifest.

Summoning newfound courage, John fled from the room and called for help. The fire brigade arrived, battling the blaze with determination and skill, eventually bringing it under control. As the smoke cleared and the embers faded, the charred remains of John's bedroom lay before him - a poignant reminder of his past struggles.

In the aftermath of the fire, the community rallied around John, offering support and understanding. Sadly John did not remember the lessons of that fateful night and he threw the help back in their faces.

That night there were two roads open to him. The first led to freedom from his demons and happiness. The second allowed the anger and demons to destroy him. He chose the road that led to pain, addiction and dying alone in pain and squalor.
