Was about researching about where to look & about living in Spain I am here. So was for anyone interested here are the good & bad things that happened to me. But now I (Luca) will tell you about my experiences, both very bad, better and good.

Any doubts - not likely!!!

This week I had the need to use my car but first I had to remove the snow. This is the windscreen which took me about 10 minutes to clear. To think that last week we were in Axaequia in 21 degrees during the day 4 degrees at night.

If i had any doubts about moving to Spain (which I don't), this was ample reason enough to remove those doubts.

Everything is now being formulated for my transition to Spain & most everybody has been told, all worrying about our welfare, but they shouldn't this isn't an overnight thing.

Today I attended "A course and Assessment on Emergency Life Support and Defibrillation. Incorporating  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitaion and the use of An Automated External Defibrillator" A mouthful eh? But briefly I learned what to do if a person appeared to have had a Cardiac Arrest or Heart Attack. Commonly known as CPR but using a Defibrillator. What an eye opener although I have to say do not look forward to the day when I am called on to use it.

Amazingly Sedella, only a little village, but quite forward thinking, has long windy roads leading to it which are very time consuming, so it has it's own helipad.  It also has 4 defibrillators with 8 trained users. But as of today it now has 9!

Wow! We didn't seem to get so much snow here in Grantham, Gerald, but we are lucky enough to have a garage that actually has room for our car lol. Re the lovely property you'll soon be moving into in Sedella, are you taking over responsibility for all the utility bills or does your rental price include them? Hopefully, we'll find our own winter let this year and I'd rather pay a monthly rate that includes all bills or just pay the owner every time they come in so that he/she can pay them.

You certainly had some snow! We were very lucky and missed most of it except for some of the journey to work and at the NEC in Birmingham. Good on you to be learning how to use the Defib machine. I know my sister used to be one of the holders in her village before she moved. I believe that Windsorian is moving to Villanueva del Trabuco where we are buying! So another close one! :)

I'm glad Louise that if nothing else it's bringing out of people where they are situated making it easier for me later in the year to try to fix somewhere where we can all meet & have a drink & a chinwag. (and be pleasantly surprised how different people are "in the flesh" rather than just a flimsy few posts or emails
Incidentally Louise we had a massive thaw over the weekend & can't tell now their has ever been snow. xx
