The Travels & Adventures of Flog-It Removals.

Welcome to the Flog-It blog. Here we will post comments and details of our travels hopefully before, during and after we are on the road as well as general observations from while we are just out and about locally.

Crematted again...
Monday, August 18, 2008 @ 12:30 AM

Well yes we just had to go through this painful drink barrier yet again so that we could let you know just what it was like. Tonight I made my own Cremat from a bottle of Ron Negrita, a tablespoon of brown sugar (white will do) rind of half a lemon, a cinamon sick and a fistfull of coffee beans. After about 5 minutes of burning we were happy it was done so dished it up into small cups and the general opinion was that it was as good as the night before in the hotel, but cost over 30 euro less so from now on I know what to serve our guests when they ask for a coffee!!

Some years ago whilst holidaying in Spain with friends, one of whom was a chef, we were invited to dinner at a villa on the El Paraiso Golf community.
Our chef friend kindly offered to cook dinner for us all, and once he had decided on the menu, packed us females off to the shops for the ingredients, plus he required a dish that was big enough to hold a pie to feed ten.
Guess what we returned with?
Is that what they are really for? Or like us, were you using what was available?

These dishes are fab for anything and my usual use is a vegetable bake or cheese & potato pie but it just came to hand when it was time to set alight to a bottle of rum and I knew it was not going to crack under the heat. Cheap too!!
