Malaga judges are turning Consumers oriented! Let´s celebrate!
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 @ 2:42 PM

Good news! There are now three Judges in Appeal Court in Malaga clearly backing consumers rights in actions for contract cancellation without Bank Guarantee!!

We need to drink a toast! For you, for the legal professionals involved and for justice in Spain.

Let´s keep the battle up! It is exhausting some times, need to confess.

There are tears in my eyes at this news Maria!

Thanks to the core of dedicated members of the Spanish legal profession such as we have on EOS, and the various organisers (again such as we have on EOS) of appeals and petitions to MEPs and the Spanish government -little by little and drip by drip- justice is gradually being won for the consumer. Let's hope this trickle of turning Judges turns into a torrent.
I'm clebrating Maria with a large cup of tea for now...but later perhaps something stronger.
Great News!!

Will this deter developers from automatically appealing when they lose a case for breach of contract do you think Maria? Have legal costs/interest etc been backdated to provide sufficient disincentive and halt the abuse by the developers constantly going to appeal?

Good news indeed for purchasers who are at the mercy of unscrupulous developers who fail to honour all their sales and marketing promises.

But much much more has to be done before purchasers would ever feel safe doing business here again.

Fantastic news Maria. I KNOW your firm and CyC are doing a brilliant job and , God willing, you will turn the tide of the whole corruption scene in Spain.

For the needs of a film documentary we are looking for testimonies of English golfers who have purchased a home in Spain and have encountered difficulties (unscrupulous developers etc.)

You can contact Thomas at thomasdocumentary@gmail.com

or leave a message here.
Thank you.

Oh dear! I got lost with real clients... I would never have that lapsus regarding an email! Well, we need to meet soon again.
Why do not send to me a pic so I can be fully clear on who you are?

Hi Maria, we all think your amazing! you must be one of the most hardest working lawyers in Spain, a country that should be very proud of you. I'm sure you are held in the highest regard by the judges in all regions, when they see your name appear on the case files they must think 'Oh here she comes so fasten your seat belts! Huge thanks for fighting our corner. Bernice
