Doula services by a UK Registered Midwife

Im considering offering a doula service (pregnancy, birth and postnatal support) to British couples in the Costa Blanca area.

Hello Im Alison, currently living in the UK but wishing to from a Doula service on the costa Blanca. Im new to blogging so please excuse my slowness! I own a property in Spain and wish to make it my permanent home.

Im a Registered Midwife working on labour ward in a busy obstetric unit. I have over 10 years experience. Im considering offering antenatal, birth and postnatal support to women and their families in the Costa Blanca area. I would be grateful for any suggestions or ideas of services that you may be interested in. Please feel free to contact me via this site.

What a very good idea, I bet most ex pats are either unsure of the spanish way of dealing with childbirth or they return to the uk to deliver, having a qualified uk midwife at your side must be a real comfort to expectant parents.

Im due early january and have no support around me and am very interested in your services. Have you moved to Spain yet or is it still in the future???
I watch many british programs and Doulas appear very often which is where Ive seen what you do to help an expectant mother.
