Selling a UK vehicle in spain to someone returning to the UK

Hello all,

As i posted in a prev thread, we are looking to move over in a couple of months, we are buying a UK van and driving down with our stuff,

The aim would then be to advertise it to someone who is moving from spain back to the UK (for whatever reason)

The Van is MOTed for till Sept 10 and taxed, etc

My Question is????!!!!!!!!

Is there any problem selling the vehicle as it would be registered in the UK and selling to someone else who will technically in the UK (once they get back)

This would technically be a normal sale of vehicle and we would return the log book to the DVLA in the UK for a change of address etc.

Would i have any problems with anything, we are looking to sell once we have settled and ive gone over for the car and brought it down on the ferry etc.

I can't see there being any problem selling the vehicle, providing that the vehicle as current road tax & mot and the new owner acquires valid insurance. The vehicle being returned back to the uk prior to 6 month deadline. Have good trip!
