No question too simple

JeansSis had a great idea about doing a help section for the site.  She keeps getting asked all the time about how to add pictures, etc, to posts so now we have somewhere to put the answers.  So here it is.

So if you have any problems using the forum then please post your questions here.

Seeing as Janice is not back on UK terra firma, at least not on EOS till perhaps later today (come back Janice, we have missed you), I will attempt to help.

this problem has something to do with drinking vast quantities of alcohol whilst using your computer.

The problem arises, when you have imbibed too much, you start to slip off the cahir, vainly hanging onto the keyborad for suppot and the whole hard drive goes into confusion, hence this message appers.

Try taking more water with it..............................

Thanks for coming to my rescue Fibs. You said "when you have imbibed too much, you start to slip off the cahir" (sic), so I think perhaps you are familiar with this problem yourself. I will therefore heed your advice. From now on, while operating any computerised equipment, I will stick to:

(Light Beer - in case you didn't get it!)

That was when I was only on tea!

When the wine kicks in I slip into my cockney typing, (still sober at the mo, so hope I have spelt everything right!)

 

On the subject of message boards, how do you start a new one? Am I missing a link somewhere?

Can't think of a subject yet, but one might come.

Just thought of one.... how about a board for musicians, I'm one, we could compare notes.....oh that's awful.

I think only Justin can start a new message board, we can only start new threads.

I think a Musician thread in the Happy every Day Chat, could be fun, we could all type song lyrics and get members to "guess that song"!

Howard, we only create new boards if it deserves a whole section dedicated to it.  Couldn't really justify on for musicians in Spain!

You can create new threads in any section.
