I am thinking of going to live in Torrevieja, near Alicante in Spain. Is here anybody out there that can advise or recommend how to find a good secondary school for my daughter, who is, at present being educated privately in London. She is 14 years of age.

Nice to see the "kids in Spain" thread revived!
I don't have the answer to your question, as I don't have children of school age, well to be exact, I do have children that BEHAVE like school age, but that's another story!
However, I do believe that this thread was intended for children to talk to children (parents supervision required of course, EOS can be a bit naughty if the kids strayed to ther threads), but I am sure someone in EOS will be able to answer you question better than I can, so be patient, someone will spot this post and respond soon.
