Hello ,does anyone know cajamar rates for mortgages at the moment ,we have heard they have the best rates !!! would appreciate any feedback  thankyou

Hi Wenron,

Cajamar offer Euribor + 1.25, or slightly less, depending on how many bank products you commit to taking out! Their maximum is 70% of purchase price or valuation, whichever comes out the highest(!). I do not think this is the best around at the moment - infact depending on your criteria it is possible to get Euribor + 0.75 at 70% LTV.

We have just accepted a mortgage with CAM at Euribor + 1.10. We also have mortgage and house insurance with them, which reduces the rate to Euribor + 1.05.

Not the best rate we found, but we only took on the builders mortgage from the developer so saved on any second mortgage setup fees.

Banks are really touchy at the moment too. It's like the proverbial 'blood from a stone'. They did this offer for LTV of up to 60% and we borrowed 110,000. The rates might be different if you don't transfer the builders mortgage, so Sharon's estimates may also be correct.
