Does a UK fax machine work in Spain?

Hi, 

I dont want to buy one before we leave only to find we can't send faxes from Spain to the UK. I also cant remember if the plugs are the same (the phone plug not the electric plug !).

the phone plug is different although you can buy an adaptor.
With equipment like this it is always better to buy it here,you can get exactly the same model and if it does go wrong you do not have to worry about taking half way across Europe to have it replaced.
The other bonus is it will fit straight into the socket without an adapter.
