Does anyone know if there is going to be anything special happening in and around Roda area between the 3rd and the 8th of December? I believe this is when the Spanish tend to celebrate Their Xmas and have a few bank holidays round about the 6th. Would be good if their was anything happening!

The Spanish actually celebrate Xmas on the 5th and 6th January. THere are two public holidays on the 6th and the 8th but no real celebrations. The 5th January there should be a parade/carnival in most towns across Spain. Check out the local tourist office to see if they have any specific events.
