General Strike and Flights from UK

Hi, My partner is travelling to Malaga from UK on 29th March ... Yep General Strike Day. Does anyone know how it might affect flights coming into Malaga? Also if the flight cannot land because of air traffic controllers/baggage handlers etc., who would be responsible for compensating any money lost by a cancelled flight?
