new indian resturant in Benimar
| The Comments |
A new indian resturant has just opened next to the Italian in Benimar. It's realy good, food very tasy lots of it and good value for money, easily the best in the area. Four of us went about 3 weeks ago and we were given so much as the portions are large that we had to take the left overs home with us. Lovely decor inside and plent of space inside as well as out and the service was great. Well recomended.

I went with my Son a few days after it opened & I have to say I wasn't impressed. The decor is lovely & the staff very friendly although the food let it down for me. We had 2 curries, 2 nann breads, a glass of 7up & a bottle of water & it was 24.50 Euros (a bit pricey I thought?). The service was very slow also, even by Spanish standards! Sadly, I won't be in a rush to go back

Thanks for that! it is such a shame we do not seem to have a decent Indian restaurant, We might be spoilt we have such a good one in the UK that do lovely curries. I know you should not compare, but have not found one as good in Spain as yet!!!
Whereabout's is it?

HI Pat, if you go up the small hill with Studz on your right, to the roundabout tit is on the right just on the roundabout. They do take away, you can basically order anything off the menu & they knock 10% off. My friend had a take away she said the food was ok but pricey.

I have read all the comments about the Indian in Benimar although not tried it yet.
I have a holiday home in Los Montesinos and consider the small town very lucky to have a great indian restaurant in the botanical square.I have used it often since it opened 3years ago and it is by far the best I have tasted anywhere on my travels.
I am a lover of good Indian food and can strongly recommend it
Regards IAIN
