UK car hire

Hello

Does anyone have any recommendations for car hire to pick up at Manchester Airport?

We are going back for 10 days in March next year and the prices quoted  are horrendous. Almost £200 for 10 day hire!

Just had a look at a few UK car hire websites with collection from Manchester Airport and £200 seems like a good deal...yes its a bit expensive but the UK is an expensive place...just one of the many reasons people leave in the first place!

If you want to book the dates now you won't find it any cheaper through any reputable company. £20 per day is not really that horrendous, If you want the best rate leave it to the week before then try budget rent a car, If you were booking today for 10 days starting tomorrow it would be under £100, avoid half term though.

Thanks for the replies. We are used to always paying more in UK and  that is why we do not visit very often.

Visitors to Spain do not realise how lucky they are! The equivalent here is about 70 Euros.

The 70 euro  was from Alicante. I thnk I clicked the link on here. Not sure though as it was simply a random price check.

Just managed to save £50 on my car hire. Clicked on the Hertz advert on this site and actually got 25%discount.
