Mr. Antonio Javier Navarro Corchón (director general of urbanism of the Murcia region) failed to tell the truth and this is stated by Mr. Antonio Martinez Gonzalez the chairman of Group Trampolin. "

"He does not accomplish any of the things he says and promises, he has blocked the project at Trampolin Hills  in the General Directorate of Town Planning and Housing for his own purpose, as Trampolin Hills has followed all the legal procedures involved. Therefore, the reality of his actions can only be that his main ambition is to achieve the resignation of the mayor of Campos del Rio.!!

What the Hell is going on?  I didn't think I would be one to give up on this so soon but I'm beginning to wish I'd never got involved in this bloody project now.  My Dad is going fishing nearby TH tomorrow and will popping in to ask a few questions on our behalf and to see if he can find out anything more.  I will speak with him tomorrow night and report back with anything I have.

Hi everyone

Never posted before - my husband normally reads the posts & keeps me up to date. However, felt that I should start to contribute as it looks like I'll be keeping a careful eye on developments over the next while......

Just wondered what everyone is thinking about Antonio's post??

The message I get is that the mayor of Campos del Rio had previously approved the plans, but that the Director General of Urbanism for Murcia has now blocked the plans. Antonio is confirming that there is a political struggle going on between Campos del Rio & Murcia - something I think we've all been aware of  for some time.

The translation of the last part taken from the Grupo Trampolin web site is that they will be taking out a 'denuncia' - as far as I know this is a personal action against the DG for Murcia Urbanism.

Just wanted to check what meaning everyone else takes from this & whether anyone has any further news at all??

Good to read everyone's past contributions. We are Wendy & Andy and have a Zahara 1st phase, Block 4, 2nd floor.

Regards, Wendy

Hi Everyone,

As myself I am sure as you are feeling pretty disturbed by this at the moment.

From what I have read over the last few months (hopefully I will be misquoted), the mayor due to having a vested personal interest in the project was not allowed to vote, and his vote was the one that swung the decision for the approval of the build. The PP party have been totally against the build all along, but the opposiiton PSOE was in favour of the build, but because they are the minority party their decision didnt count, and fell to the majority PP at the Murcis Regional Authority.

The question remains, what next?  The TH website is NOT an independant source of news about the project. This is what we need to be asking of Grupo Trampolin,...what next?

Hi all looks like we'll have to ride this one out, I dont know what any of us can do to help the situation anyone got any ideas, this exlains why the web cam has stopped working, anyone going over to see if they are continuing to work? Anyone heard anything from an agent or TH other than what Amga2 has posted, its all very dissapointing and should there eventually be a good outcome the waiting time just gets longer, building work always just seems a week away.and infact as you all saw from the photos I took in feb it appeared to have started then, but where we are now I just dont know, In the middle of a legal battle we just dont understand.I just wonder whether we as a united group could have any say in this planning row could we veiw our frustrations to the council that is holding up the planning, by sending the appropiate people emails, anyone an Ideas maybe Amga2 or some one could suggest some one that we could protest to. Ok lets start getting some input from you all please.

Hi All/

see below translated extract dated 08/04/08 from Party Popular (PP) newsletter, may explan why Murcia planning dept. has referred the TH development licence application for legal consideration due to the threat of legal action from the PP group in Campos del RIO.

***************************************************************************************************************************************

08, in April.'08 .- The Partido Popular Field River has brought new legal action against the socialist mayor of the municipality, Miguel Navarro, and councillor for Urban Development, Esteban Jimenez.  Specifically, the PP has filed an appeal with the court, as well as administrative by the special procedure for the protection of fundamental rights against the decision of the Chair of the House of the Corporation dated March 10, 2008 by the councilman ostentada for Urban Development, Esteban Jimenez, in connection with the modification of Standards Subsidiaries promoted by the Group Springboard in that locality.

The spokesman for the PP Field River, Miguel Buendía, recalled that the mayor convened a plenary session on March 10 to inform it of a correction of deficiencies in the handling of the dossier referred to amend Rules Subsidiaries and sending documentation to the Autonomous Region. This will preclude the vote and was replaced by a simple-making knowledge.

For municipal spokesman of the PP, "this is one more illegality to add to the many already detected in this matter as to prevent the vote, the mayor is preventing councillors, and thus the House, express freely their will on the issue. At the same time, the Mayor avoids resolve a disqualification hanging over him for providing services to the commercial real estate brokerage promoter of record and therefore elude the vote as a liability for the same. "

Miguel Buendía explained that the action before the court litigation has been brought by the entire Municipal People's Group, composed of the five councillors that the People's Party have in Campos del Río. In the letter of interposition, submitted last March 28, councillors popular request the court under the Fundamental Right of participation in public affairs recognised in Article 23.2 of the Spanish Constitution.

Buendía has indicated that the councillors believe that popular, making knowledge appeal, "both the mayor and the councilman of urbanism that sought to prevent the House of the Municipality comment on the changes that have had to make to the draft amendment of Standards Subsidiaries which seeks to convert into urbanisable 1,600,000 m2. "

Some of these changes affect essential aspects of the project tentatively approved by the House of the Corporation, so that these amendments imply a different content to the draft approved by the House and, therefore, must receive the endorsement of the Municipal Corporation through competent body that is the House, as is clear from the Act and has repeatedly demanded the Directorate General of Urbanism in their reports to require approval by the plenary body municipalities.

According to popular councillors, the mayor and councilman of Urbanism have usurped the House, by making knowledge, competence that it has assigned according to article 22 of the Code of Local Regime, and violating the fundamental right of councillors to participate in public affairs by expressing its willingness to broadcast free vote; all with the purpose of avoiding a vote against the adoption of the amendment of the Rules Subsidiaries promoted by Springboard Group. "

Finally, Buendía has pointed out that since the law is equal for all and is to be accomplished, a town hall, with its mayor at the helm, should not only be a guarantor of such compliance but to be the first to set an example in this regard. For this reason, Buendía has concluded that "from the People's Party or not hesitate for a second to bring legal action in court may be necessary to ensure compliance with the law in this matter."

Hey all

VERY GOOD IDEA "Evad".

If someone of you are communicating with the grupo-trampolin guys, could you get hold of an e-mail adress that we all can send the same mail to?

In that way we are helping the guys doing the lobbying and may add some weight on the scales.

I will now propose a text that some of you could elaborate, review and comment on...please then copy and paste the text and do adjustment in the reply

Please forward to  Mr. Antonio Martinez Gonzalez .

We are representants from a group of people that has invested our savings into the Trampolin Hills Golf resort in Campos del Rio, Murcia.
The project has been delayed for quite some time now and we are starting to get concerned.
We do not blame the politicians or government workers for holding back the final approvals. Their job is to see that everything is done according to the law and that the rules are followed.
Our problem is that we do not understand why the approval process take so long time and that very little information is flowing our way. All we have done is invest money in the Trampolin Hills Golf resort and now we are loosing faith and spirit...and money.

The roumors goes that we have been draged into some sort of a political battle that we have no possibility to influence. We are a bit conserned by the outcome of our investment and urge you to give us some feedback if there is something that we could do to influence and speed up the process as potential owners and potential habitants in Spain.

We are all looking forward to the day the building starts and to the finished golf resort.

best regards

How about it? any thoughts anyone

Hi Everyone,

I sent an email to Pilar Cano, TH's solicitor, today have received a delivered and read receipt but as usual have received no response.  If you haven't got it, her email address is: pilarca@thetrampolinhills.com.  I think the email you have drafted Ogo is a good one and I am all for it.

My father went up to TH yesterday and said he was really surprised at what was going on up there.  There were builders everywhere.  He said that as you stand in the car park looking down towards the golf course with the show houses to your right they had marked off with the orange plastic fencing/screening (best way I can describe it - sorry) and that the road to the right had been flattened and laid with rubble.  Foundations had been dug out for the the villas as far along as our plot which is plot 11 with some kind of building materials placed in readiness.  He said he couldn't go down and take a look because it was screened off and the builders were down there.  He also said that there were cement mixers down there.  Looking out towards the left he said that there was an awful lot of work going on with the digging out for foundations for the apartments.  Also the new road onto the development is now being used for all the heavy duty vehicles.  He said that he had taken some photos is going to try and download some picture at the weekend but said he didn't know how well they will come out.  If they are any good I will send them on.

Cheerio for now,

Tracy

Hi Tracy,

Thanks for posting about latest developments...and the email of the TH solicitor.

I was wondering why the camera wasnt working when in the past the camera was working when nothing was going on! Now we know

Looks like they will be carrying on regardless of the legal aspects that have now surfaced with the political situation.

The letter/email drafted from Ogo is pretty good and I think we should go for it...

Regards
Jackie

Hi fellow buyers i havnt posted for a while and am really confused at the moment about wats going on i think we are due a bit of luck as we have had none so far. I think that its really important that we are all sticking together on this for the good or dare i say it bad we must all be singing from the same hymn sheet. The letter below is a good idea and i have already sent it off and i think the rest of us should as it might just show them that we are serious, concerned and even scared but that we are together and are not just going to take a back seat we are a team and meen business.

c,mon and stick together

Hi All

Haven't posted before but thought below might be worthwhile.

Having read many of the postings I have contacted my own solicitor in Spain who has confirmed the below which guess by this stage is not new news but confrms the situation from another source. The good news is she appears to be confident that TH will get the stamp, the question is how long will it take. Have asked her if from her experiance she can give us any indication of how this will play out and how long it is likely to take.

Will let you know the response.

"There is a problem of delay as there are disputes between some members of the town hall. Ones are accussing the others of not fulfilling what they promised.... and more things....

The information we´ve got is that Trampolin Hills have submitted the required paperwork to get licencies and because of the corruption of a couple of members in the town hall this process is being delayed.

Eventually Trampolin Hills will get the final stamp but it is clear that there will be a delay."

Just to clarify what I was saying about us all emailing a draft letter showing our concern, it was not TH or their lawyer as I believe these are not resposible for the delays it is my belief that our developer is going down the legal road, ie, all licences in place which in the long run wil be a benefit to us all, what I am suggesting is that TH gives us an email address for the decision makers within in the council I am sure that if we all went to the council offices and protested that would bring a result, as the press would no doubt jump on the band wagon, Ive recently had problems with our local council but amazingly when it got to the news papers the problem dissapeared, as were unable to all go to the council I am suggesting that we email the appropiate people when we find out exactly who they are, I wonder if when Mr Ikea went to Murcia council and said I would like to build a new shop and produce loads of jobs here , did the council say I wound not bother mate were stopping all large urbanisations, no they probably jumped for joy when Ikea re opened Murcia to Spain, How about a letter to Mr Ikea like this... Dear sir I am sorry to imform you that the 10 million pounds that the new residents of TH were going to spend will have to be cancelled as the council think the sky is a bit too blue in campos del rio. Firstly we need the name and email address of the appropriate people, and as we have already seen with events at TH the press have been willing to publicise whats going on, maybe our Spanish investors could help as well, So now a direct request to Amga2, who do we air our complaints to ?, we your investors await your speedy response, you have an army of dissapointed investors why not use them and get the result we all want.

Evad, I totally agree.  The reason I left the solicitors email address at TH is because she would be the right person to give us a contact name at the Council.  She never responds though but if enough people email her and ask her for a contact she might have the sense to post it on this forum instead of emailing one all individually.

Don't hold your breath though!

So what should we do?

I suggest that we await feedback from the e-mail some of us has sent to Pilar Cano, TH's solicitor, and see what we can do.

We should not get in between the two cats fighting, as we might get hurt :-) but if there is anything we can do to influence, we definately should.

So to plan ahead I think we should aim at a date, say next sunday the 27'th of April, we should have a wording ready for a mail/fax/letter/or whatever, send to the council and the press..

And if things has been solved we just wait and see, but at least we should have something ready to go...

Hi all

Sorry for the inconveniencies... but

Pilar Cano seems not be a solicitor:

http://www.icamur.es/colegioabogados/directorio_juridico.php?buscar=pilar+cano&poblacion=&idSesion=1208707892&en=0&imageField.x=7&imageField.y=4

She does not  appear in the above juridical directory listed in "Colegio Oficial de Abogados de Murcia"  (Murcia Official Solicitors College) website...

It seems another smokescreen of Trampolin. Be careful

Hi

About one year ago, Pilar gave me her card and it said something like 'head of sales' I can't find it now. It was Laura who was introduced to us as their solicitor.

In the past, I have sent e-mails to both without ever receiving any replies.

The only way we ever got answers was to get a flight over there.

Due to all the problems, we have made about 25 visits over the past four years.

With the cost of all those flights (and accomodation) we could have bought a small mansion.

Maybe you could be our link (spokesperson?/point of contact) --- or if you dont have time, maybe someone else can voulonteer... (Myself do not think I have time)

The single point should then send an e-mail back to pilar.

Please be informed that I have volounteered to be the point of contact between TH and the "eyeonspain.com -forum for buyers in TH"  I will then inform the buyers about the information provided

Thanks for the reply.
We are carefully optimistic by the news and looking forward to the update next week.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do, or if there is something we definately NOT should do, to avoid us doing things that can harm our common interrests.

If you in addition could bring some information of the buidling status, like;
-Will the building be stopped and the project be delayed even more due to the situation or will the building be moving forward as planned?

Best regards
............

If we have a single contact person, I think we could bring some value to the project and who knows, we might add some weight on the scales.

So what do you say "cpboyd", are you willing to do it? or do you know someone else that can?

OGO
