Ryanair will actually allow cases up to 15.9kg without additional charge - I asked a helpful Ryanair check-in person last year and she confirmed that this was their policy.

Have since travelled with cases weighing between 15.5 - 15.9kg and not yet been charged, so this appears to be correct.

Fantastic news - I've been waiting 6 months to get back to the sun and they choose to strike on 21st April, the very day I'm flying out to Spain!

For planned strikes, what rights do you have as a consumer? I assume that the airlines won't actually cancel the flights until the day before when the 'know' it is definitley going to happen?

Will this be a blanket strike affecting all flights? I remember the public workers strike in Spain last year didn't stop all flights (only the ATC strikes seem to do this), but did lead to about 70% being cancelled.

We're currently looking at buying a pay-as-you-go internet USB dongle to use with our laptop when we're in Spain. As this is only 7-8 weeks per year, this seems the most cost efficient way of obtaining a reasonably fast connection without signing up to a contract.

Orange and Yuigo seem to offer the best service and deals for pay as you go. I wanted to ask if anyone out there currently has a USB dongle in the Murcia region, specifically near Roldan, and what is the quality of the connection?

High speed 3G coverage in our area looks patchy at best and varies by provider - Orange looks poor, Yoigo looks OK - so I was hoping for your views on this before we commit.
