Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me?

We completed on our apartment in Dec.2007, and our lawyer contracted our electricity supply with Endesa Distribucion Electrica SL. . We are having some work done, but we have been told there is no electricity in our apartment. Does anyone know how this works?

I'd be interested to hear.

My wife and I had the problem, we are in block 6. We completed in January 2007 and did not get the services connected untill Late September. Aparantley the builder held back the paper work untill Rushcliffe paid them.

Thank you for the feedback .

Since my posting, and the Easter break in Spain, our lawyer confirned our contract with the electric co. and on telephoning them were told we definitely had a supply. Then the people doing a job for us confirmed that we did have electricity in our apartment, but that there were "issues with the electricity inside the urbanization which they were going to inform the sales office of."

Anyhow, we shall be staying in our apartment next week and hopefully we shall have an electricity supply ?

We shall also be chasing up Rushcliffes with regard to our 'snag list', and various other issues !

We'll let you know how we got on.

Susan.

Hi Andrew,

This is a new one on me. I would have thought that the developer would have to make sure that the supply was adequate. And not the purchaser having to pay for moreupgrading of the system.

Hi Susan

Ive had similar problems too.

I completed Nov 2006 - blck 2, and had to have the supply increased to 8050wk and meter changed, and pay for the priviledge 41 euros, according to my lawyer appliances and air con needed more wattage than they had anticipated (6900kw) as it was tripping out the electrics, but I would have thought that the developer would have notified the electric company about future supplies?

Hope this helps?
