My understanding is that the lifts will not be operational until the Habitation licence is granted.

Good to see that the site is nearing completion and that they have cleaned both pools -

Many thanks for the updated photos paul, good to see things are moving on.

We are one of many who have not completed at Fairways, but we are intending on getting to the AGM on 22nd Feb. Have you any idea of the agenda @ this meeting, or exactly what Jale will be attempting to do, so we can come prepared.

Do you have the address of anyone who is responsible for the development on behalf of the community, so I could get in touch to try and find out some more detailed information regarding Jales contractual responsibility prior to development handover, as this will affect everybody whether you have completed or not.

Any information we have had through about the development has been a complete mess, and impossible to understand.

Looking forward to meeting everybody @ the AGM.

Hi Cluey

Lets hope 2007 brings the completed development we all deserve

I'm eagerly awaiting  the completion/habitation license for my apartment.I purchased through Dave Robinson, and although at a good price the information exchange between Jale/Dave and myself has been mixed and full of BS at times.Jale have been playing hard ball and at the end of the day it is just another development to them. But to us its means more

I agree with you and we all need to pull together and show Jale at the AGM we  want our development in good shape. We defnitely need the agenda before the meeting to plan our response to them.If you can get your hands any information reading the meeting or the maintenance of the comminty it would be worth translating it and understanding our position before the meeting so we as comminity members have our guns fully cocked for the meeting. If you need a hand with anything let me know i enjoy prepare for meetings.

BR
Steve

The management company usually posts the Agenda on its website and will send out copies to owners.  This is usually done around 2 weeks before hand.  I certainly agree it is important for all owners to attend if at all possible.

When were you last out at your apartment? There have been a lot of changes in the past few months.  Have a look at the shared photos.

As said in the previous posts the AGM is 22nd February, if you can manage it you should try and attend. We will all hopefully get some answers then.

Sunnyside,

Trying to register with Ammex, but is proving a little confusing. Do you know the simplest way to access ammex website. I have tried e-mail and phone, but both seem to be leading to no where. Any advice would be appreciated,

regards

I mentioned earlier in the thread that we would not be attending the meeting as our flight was booked for the 22nd Feb. We have changed Alan's flight so he will now be going to give our support.  We look forward to meeting our Fairways neighbours and wish you all a Happy New Year!!

p.s sorry moh, not sure of the time of the meeting.

Sunnyside, we registered in the Ammex office in Sabi. From what i can remember they gave us a password.

I think the AGM starts (first call) at 5.30pm at the Duquesa  Golf Club.

Sorry I can't remember how we registered probably sent an email to info@ammex.org. and they gave us a password which we were then able to change.

Can you confirm the AGM as the 22nd as we have not heard anything other than information from this site to which we have only just joined.

Our solicitor has said licences are likly to be granted in March due to a road that needs completing on the complex can you shead any light on this. Our intention is to be at the AGM work commitments permitting. Hope to see you there.

Hi, yes as far as we are aware the meeting is on the 22nd February at 5.30pm and judging by this forum there seems to be a lot of people making an effort to attend. My husband has his flight booked so hope they don't change the date!!

What road are you referring to? The main road past the south block seemed finished to us when we were out in November.  Have a look at the pictures posted by Bill in September taken from the hill at the apartment block behind Fairways.

Thanks for responding so quickly. We have bought an appartment from phase two over looking the golf course in quite a central position. I believe the road to be the one on the golf course side of the complex from the road to the car underground car parking.

Does anybody have an email address for someone at Jale that actually responds? i've been trying to get hold of accurate drawings/plans for our apartment so i can get furnishings sorted but the email addresses i have tried never get a response. Thanks

Also if anyone can recommend a solicitor to execute completion then that would be great. Bill kindly posted a name of a firm in the port some time ago but they are not responding to my emails.
