Need cat friendly hotel near Madrid

I just visited the 'Royal Dream' forum and was very surprised to see that construction work has already started, with the building of 4 Macarena type houses!

This at first would appear to be great news, but the fact that there is no licence in place for construction is a little worrying. Will this development go down the same road as the much maligned El Trampolin development. Lets hope not.

Anyone with any news about our own development?

If you read the post below the construction photos it gives an explanation as to the status of the licence for RD from the company solicitor.

Regarding Trampolin Hills, we did visit the development, and no construction has begun yet.  The fairway is looking good, very long, however, no grass.  In fact, what you see on the webcam is basically what it looks like.  I do believe they are starting construction of houses once the land has been prepared around the fairway.  I couldn't tell you when though. 

It does look very nice though and the end result will be amazing!

Maybe these properties being build are the showhouses for Royal Dream just as there are showhouses on Trampolin Hills.  Lets hope we see some construction soon on TH and are seeing photos of our properties being built. 

We decided against going out to murcia this year as we were getting a bit dispondent about the whole thing.  We spent 2 weeks in the costa dorada (1st and last time there) and are back now feeling confident about TH.

I think you hit the nail on the head there, Diane! However, I really do hope for every one's sake at Royal Dream, that construction of habitable homes haven't started ahead of the Construction Licence as this can lead to all sorts of trouble for the purchasers.................just ask the guys at El Trampolin!

Hello Chris, from Royal Dream. Nice to talk to you! I actually did read the report that said your Licence was at stage 4 of 5. This is exactly the same stage that our Licence have been at, for over two years now!  A word of warning, Chris!  The legal staff at Trampolin work for the Company and not for you or I. They will tell you anything you wish to hear and their comments should be taken with a pinch of salt!  We all of course hope that Pilar is right in her predictions, but personally. I doubt it! Our own Trampolin Hills development will point the way for other projects planned by Grupo Trampolin. When you see the builders on site here......................you will then know that yours and other Trampolin developments will follow! Just on that point............. I received an E-mail from Grupo Trampolin yesterday concerning another 'New' development up at Alicante! I would rather have received an E-mail informing me that my house was about to be built.

Hopefully everything will work out for us all! 

I couldn't agree more Joe.  I really do hope we are not messed around like the people at El Trampolin.  I have faith in Pilar, even though I appreciate she works for the company, she was good enough to tell us to look elsewhere for our pool and not go with the company she works for.  We are not guillible, but do hope that what we see and hear are positive points.

I do appreciate everything that you and Diane have stated and just hope that your development as well as ours, proceed without the hitches that El Trampolin have in the past.  We also visited El Trampolin, and the development is looking a lot better than it did in June, however, they are still on builders water. 

I suppose we all have to wait and see, as time goes on, I feel sorry for you all who have waited 2 years since the initial deposit was paid.  I would be pulling my hair out by now.  With regards to the 4 macarenas that have begun construction, I did hear they were the showhouses, but with only 40 left on the whole development, I don't know why they are building them. 

Lets all keep our fingers crossed, and I do have faith in the Company, maybe I will be proved wrong, but from the vibes and what was said to us, I sincerely believe what we have been told.

Regards to you all, and here's to us all meeting and having a good old knees up when we are all completed on our developments.
