When I say update I mean it in the loosest terms possible as I haven't really got that much to tell!
We've had 2 leaks - one where the velux wasn't shut properly which has left lovely big black stains down the wall, and one where our balcony drain isn't working and it's leaking into our downstairs neighbours apartment.
A temporary fix has been put in place but it still isn't working so the site plumber (yes we have a plumber!) has been called.
So we spent last weekend doing DIY (as if we dont do enough of that at home with our crumbling Victorian terrace!) and trying to pay our taxes which proved to be nigh on impossible without paying a solicitor some extortionate fee!
So onto the site itself:- It looks EXACTLY the same as it did in November. No landscaping has been done. The big mound of dirt at the front of the site is still a big mound of dirt. Some weeds have grown on it though so it's at least a bit camouflaged.
The pool is still half full of dirty water and surrounded by weeds although I noticed about 8 cactuses (cactai?) have been planted in the surrounding wall area!
The road up to the site is still badly potholed but some of the streetlights are working now.
The tennis club has had a new wall - looks very nice!
There was a community meeting on Thursday 7th June which was to discuss the same as what was discussed at the last meeting: taking those who haven't paid community fees to court, taking the builder to court, sorting the pool and parking out etc.
We spoke to our next door neighbour who didn't bother going to the meeting as she reckons the admistrator is a bit rubbish and all she wants to do is pay lawyers to take various people to court, and has no interest in setting up some sort of site maintenance (apart from the people who clean the hallways once a week).
In other news - we've put our apartment up for sale. Unfortunately there are still some Forest Hills Phase 1 apartments that are for sale with them so we won't be holding our breath for a quick or profitable sale!!
