Driving from Bilbao to Mar Menor

Whilst it is great to see positive comments, I would still urge you to be cautious based upon my experience.  After a long wait, phase 4 is now going ahead on Roda (phase 5 luxury villas understandably on hold)!!
I have been told that they will complete our phase 4 apartment on Roda now asap to get enough cash flowing back into Calidona.  I understand that many properties on Corvera will be due for completion in June 09.  Has anyone from later phases been given a completion date?  I know that the golf course will not be usable until 2010 I just hope that the  development will not be a "work in progress" for too long  and that the hotel on Roda will also be completed soon.

I have just received a mail telling me that our phase 2 Menta apartment will be ready in December 2009 not May as previously advised. The mail says that in May 09 the phase 2 Tilo and Laurel apartments will be handed over.

Is that right, Menta phase 2 apartments are delayed until Dec09, I have not had that email,
Calidona keep emailing me to check my email but dont send me any information.

The mail we received was a reply to our e-mail asking Corvera to confirm that our property was an track for May 2009. We were a bit suspicious that the date was looking optimistic as the photos showed no progress since the outside frame was built and we had no confirmation that the building licence had been granted. We have had no general mail for a very long time to keep us informed of progress but they do respond quickly to direct questions!
