Hi all,

We are now members of the SJ residents association. The immobillaria office in between La isla and La venta is where an english speaking guy is (Rafa) and he is great, sorted the forms out for us and said any probs with houses or whatever, go and see him. He was telling us that in order to take the fences down, the final habitation for the whole site has to be issued and this is not issued until all the site is finished including all services. He says the new power sub station is being built at Jaravia, and once connected up by latest next march, we will get electricity. So maybe the fences will be down for next spring/summer.

Good news,

Ray n Ann

Ray

Can you check & find out when the site will be finished, we may have Electric  by march & our water supply but with no builders on site ask what they are going to do with the remaining swimming pools that have not yet been started. It would be great to finally get the final Habitation licence for next summer & get rid of the fences, then we can all chip in and buy Richard, Sean & Mark a golf course.

By the way Ray did you water our new plant outside ?

Hi All

not been here for a while. HAd a long stint in SJ this year and it was great. spoke to Patricia about the fences and she mentioned about the completed certificates but she also said that realistically it would be two years. Shame really because they are such an eyesore. Pity we cant put pressure on Pulpi to put pressure on Peinsa to do even the front and side of the development which would be to the benefit of the whole village. Anyway here's to mains water and electricity sometime soon.

BTW has anyone outside phases 1-3 got a post box yet?? I am aware of 5 missing pieces of mail already but cannot get a box from PAtricia

Best for now

Sean and MArgot

ps Mick I lok forward to my new course!!

Hi All,

The reason we joined the RA was we were told they would put pressure on Pulpi who would in turn pressurise Peinsa for any issues. Maybe things will happen next year or maybe not, and past history tells me not to hold breath.

The remaining swimming pools are in the two blocks that are in dispute with Peinsa and the builder, and nothing has moved on these for 1 yr or so. As we know too well....... So if the licence depends on these as well we might as well start planting borganvilla around all the fences.

Good news for us is we have neighbours at last, in our street and to the back of us.

No post box for us yet, but we get all mail sent to UK or emailed.

See you all soon?

Ray n Ann

ps. Peinsa staff are still very willing to fix snagging points as they done for us last week, so thanks to them.

Thanks Raymondo y Anne.  Sounds good.  It'll be great when you can walk down through the gardens.
