l am hopefully in the process of posting my photos on the site. The photo of the apartment is in block three and the terrace is block three and as you can see the views are very impressive.
They are in the process of planting around the tennis area and swimming pool but what they have already done looks good.
l spoke to the Site Manager and he reckons that all will be complete in two weeks. That might be a little optimistic .
Good news is that the road from La Cala up to MHV is nearly complete. l travelled on it a number of times last week and its probably got 0.8 km to be completely finished. lt is a great road going via some wonderful scenery and when its finished ( we had to travel on a bit of a dirt track the last bit) it will be a lot quicker to get up to MHV from Malaga Airport.
We have had contact from our lawyers stating that the developers have informed them that they are expecting to obtain certificate of fitness for habitation shortly and they have given us dates at the end of March or in the first two weeks of April to complete which is great news.
l had already booked to go out over the Easter period so the timing is good.
As l mentioned before we all have to make sure that the snagging is sorted out as when l went into the apartment obviously there were areas that needed to be sorted out. l have got someone in place to do this independently from any lawyers.
Also all the apartments will need a builders clean as they will be handed over in a tidy state but as they are brand new the dust will be really deep seated so if anyone needs a contact for that please let me know.
l have heard that in the future there will be bars and shops up in that area so again whether we are using the apartment for our own use or for letting its good news.
Overall l am very optimistic , the complex is looking good . The only down side that l can see to give a balanced view is that the steps coming down to the pool and tennis area could be a little dangerous as in the height of the summer the metal will get very hot and could be an issue from a safety aspect particularly with young children.
This is something that l will be raising with my lawyers and the developers.
lf any one wants to discuss any of the above then please e mail me
regards
Jennie
