Just received an email from our furniture company. They need access to our apartment to measure up for  curtains, but have been refused, until after completion. Has anyone else had any experience like this?  They say that they've never been refused entry like this. Any feed back? Margo

Arenal/Prienesur were always awkward about access.  It was over 4 years before we first got to look at our apartment.  You don't need curtains straight away because of the roller blinds, not that its any consolation.

Are there roller blinds already in the apartment then?  Margo

Paul means the shutters on the outside.  There aren't any internal blinds but for privacy you can pull them down whilst getting changed, sleeping etc until you can have your curtains fitted.  maybe somebody with same size apt as yourself can give you measurements if you dont want to wait until after completion.  I don't know mine off hand, cant remember sorry.

Yes, that's true. I had forgotten about the shutters. It would have been nice, but not something to get out of my pram about, I suppose. The poor guy at the furniture shop is upset, because he likes to be able to get it looking great, and then go "Ta Daa!" Never mind. Worse things happen at sea. Margo
