Hello again,

Have just heard back from the Polaris World office who have checked and say that the line running close to the Hacienda is just a branch line with four trains a day.   The main Cartagena-Murcia line is routed via Balsicas on another line.   So nothing to be concerned about.

Hello

My partner and I have just reserved an apartment in Phase 4 as we very much liked the low build density on this development and the beauty of the surrounding area.  When we visited last Sunday, a train went past - we were told that there were only a couple of trains a day on that line but having checked the Renfe online timetable, there seems to be a more frequent service between Cartagena and Murcia, 12 trains a day in each direction on weekdays. 

Does anyone know if the railway running close to the Hacienda boundary is the Cartagena-Murcia line or a smaller branch line and if there are any goods trains using this line?  We're not hugely bothered as the odd train is a lot less intrusive than the noise from a busy road but it would be nice to make a fully informed decision!
