Casares Casita is an old stone farm cottage just for 2 with many stylish features. The open plan living /sleeping area is has terracotta floors and white-washed walls which serve as a backdrop to rich fabrics and antique furnishings . Modern essentials such as wifi- tv , dvd and washing machine (in a separate outhouse) are not forgotten either. The compact kitchen has a gas hob ,oven, fridge , small freezer and other necessities and the large bathroom is decorated with hand-painted tiles from Seville. This idyllic retreat is perfect for couples to enjoy relaxing times by the shimmering private swimming pool soaking up the sun and the sweet sounds of birdsong whilst marvelling at the stunning mountain vistas .If you feel active there are great walks straight out the front gate into the Natural Park. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature yet the picturesque village of Casares with its shops, bars and restaurants is just 3 kms away and coast with its beaches and bright lights at Estepona and Marbella are very close. Its an ideal location to spend the winter. Great for all you lucky people/digital nomads who can work remotely or if you just want to escape the winter in Northern climes. We offer special low winter monthly rates. Please enquire. Long term monthly winter rates include gas, wifi, electricty and water. We don't rent on a monthly basis in the season.
The Local Area
Casa Bermeja is set in a natural paradise with amazing walks all around. From the Sierra there are stunning views across the Straits of Gibraltar to N. Africa.as well as mountain vistas all around teeming with wildlife where eagles, boar, deer, ibex and mongeese can be spotted. The beautiful white village of Casares is a gem and invites exploration as does the whole of the nearby Ronda mountain range. Marbella -famous for its nightlife, restaurants and shopping is just 45 minutes away. Estepona is 25 minutes by car. The legendary cities of Seville, Jerez and Granada can all be visited as day trips too. Beaches are just a short drive away as are several golf courses. There are many fabulous restaurants nearby too-ranging from gourmet experiences to local country Spanish fare and not forgetting the chiringuitos-fish restaurants on the coast .
