With beautiful views of the mountains and rolling hills sat just outside the stunning white village of Competa, this house is perfect for a large family to spend a relaxing holiday or as a base for the local hikes, cycle routes or wine tours.
The space

As you walk into the house from the drive you pass through a private shaded seating area, where you can sit and enjoy a relaxing meal or glass of wine. Entering the house, you immediately walk into the open plan kitchen and living room with indoor dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare that family breakfast or evening meal. There is even a washing machine to reduce the amount of clothes and luggage you will need to take, with today’s airline charges saving just one case is worth it!
When you arrive there will be a small welcome pack waiting for you, a few essentials to make the first few hours less stressful and allowing you to settle in.
The living room is fitted out with a TV, Bluray/DVD player and Internet TV. If you prefer the sound of your own music, an ipod/MP3 music system is included. We are aware that within a family different family members prefer to relax with their own entertainment, so TV’s are included in both double bedrooms. The living room has both air conditioning for those hot summer days, and a pellet burner for those cooler winter evenings, both can be enjoyed sitting in the main seating area.
All three bedrooms and the family bathroom are accessed via an archway. The main two bedrooms both have en-suites and the rear bedroom has beautiful views over the hills and valley and a lovey balcony to sit on with that morning coffee or orange juice to start your day.
Let us not forget the pool area, complete with seating and sun loungers, you can even pay a small fee during the winter months to have it heated for you.
We include bedding and towels for your stay, there is everything you will need in our house to make you feel at home and enable you to have a wonderful holiday. Long term rentals have different facilities provided, please discuss during your enquiry)

There is a local bus service from Malaga to Competa, however we suggest hiring a car and driving there is the best option. However, if you prefer, we can help arrange a taxi service to take you from the airport or Malaga train station.

Cómpeta is a beautiful village of white-washed houses in the Andalusian mountains not far from the sea in Southern Spain. With its 4,000 inhabitants, the village stands for friendly people, breath-taking views, exciting time spent, peaceful evenings, delicious food and wine and traditional Spanish festivities where everybody can join in. The location of Cómpeta about 18km from the Mediterranean Sea and the proximity to the Parque Natural de la Sierra Tejeda y Almijara give holiday-makers and residents alike many options to spend eventful days: hiking, horse riding, sunbathing, beach days and playing golf. Cómpeta has its own charm: in the evening after a day out, you can stroll through the village and relax in one of the many bars or restaurants with a glass of local wine and a local dish. The closest airport is Malaga. Cómpeta is around one hour's drive from Malaga airport. You can hire a car at the airport. There is also a public bus which runs between Cómpeta and Malaga a number of times a day. You don’t need a car but having a car, will make you more flexible when exploring the area and all its beauty.

3. For Holiday rentals - Extra Information
Electricity – All our units have coin operated electric meters. We add enough electricity credit into the meter for you over your stay for normal use. However some people do not show the properties they visit the correct level of respect and abuse the facilities we provide. People will leave the washing machines on or the air conditioning on full for all day, this isn’t good for us or the planet. As such once the credit we provide goes, the guest will need to add extra credit via the coin meter on the wall in either 1€ or 2€ coins.

4. All long term rentals exclude bills,electricity and gas are paid locally, the rest (water, local charges, linen, internet, tv) we charge flat rate of 80 euros a month
one off charge of 80 euros to prepare and get you settled in and a final clean charge of 100 euros. Please note a written rental contract must be in place prior to moving into the property, or a new contract must be in place prior to any extension. The owners reserve the right to apply a rental price review at the end of each contract period. The tenant must provide the owners a valid email address and all contract discussions should be held via email to provide a written record. Also proof of identity needs to be provided.
Pets are permitted but full details need to be disclosed prior to the tenancy commencement and the contract MUST reference what pets are included. the number and type of pets will be limited and is at the owners discretion. An additional fee will be added to the security deposit where pets are approved.
