Cortijo Cayatanas is a semi detatched cortijo, situated in the countryside of Andalucia, between Granada and Murcia. It has been lovingly restored and offers authentic accommodation with the taste of the past, along with the comforts of the 21st Century. It would suit a couple who are retired or someone looking to buy in the area. The Cortijo is situated in a small hamlet, and is only suitable for someone who is looking for peace and tranquility, in a Spanish community. Bordering the 'parque natural' in the breathtaking Sirerra de Castril country park. The attached Cortijo is owned by me and is on the market for sale. The lovely market town of Huescar is around 15 Km away along with several Spanish villages, oozing charm and tradition. The nearest village of Fatima is around 8 Km. and boasts several bars, an excellent Restaurant, 2 Supermarkets, Bread Shop, Library and School. The nearest Bar/Restaurant of El Asador, is 5 minutes by car and you will be assured of a warm welcome from Pedro and his many local characters. You can enjoy local specialties such as Wild boar and of course free tapas comes with every drink.
The Cortijo has been tastefully renovated keeping many of it's original features. All rooms are spacious with some furnishings. The walls are thick to keep out the summer heat, but are equally useful on cool evenings when you light the log burner and enjoy the warm cosy lounge. All windows overlook stunning views. The bedrooms are well appointed doubles and the master bedroom enjoys a private en-suite and king-sized bed. There is also a downstairs bedroom with it's own bathroom. The Kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob.
Outside is a large paved patio and garden, with plenty of parking space. The Patio overlooks beautiful views from all angles.
