The nearby towns of Villaricos and Garrucha are also a short drive. Mojacar village is 10 minutes drive and a must to stroll around the cobbled streets with stunning views from the terrace. The famous Desert Springs Golf course is about 15 minutes drive. The national park of Cabo de Gato is a spectacular coastal drive from Mojacar and will take your breath away. Many westerns were filmed in the area of Tabernas/Sorbas and there is a theme park to visit. The area is the last desert in Europe. A car is essential and we can provide details of car hire companies. 70 Km from Almeria airport. 100 Km from Murcia and 150 Km from Alicante.
