This spacious quality fully equipped 1 double bedroom penthouse apartment (sleeps 4) with communal pool with an additional fully furnished private roof garden is in a lovely Spanish Village within a 1 minute walk to banks, supermarket, restaurants etc. More importantly it is a 2 minute walk to the New train station, where the addition of the new high speed train will be arriving very shortly. This gives you access to Alicante city with everything you could want from a City, culture, Beaches, Marina, bars and Restaurants etc. Murcia or Elche are but a short trip on the train and with the fast train you can be in Madrid in appx 2 hours 10 mins from Alicante.
The apartment is fitted out to a very high standard with Air-conditioning, it has everything included from bottle openers to bedding and towels, so just bring your suit case with you.
On entering the apartment block, you have a lovely marble floored entrance, there are no stairs to climb, so great for young mums or the elderly, there is a lift to all floors (except the roof). The communal Swimming pool is located on the ground floor in the center of the block with seating, tables etc.
The apartment is located on the top floor (2nd) facing south.
As you enter the apartment into a light large living room/dining room accommodating an extendable wooden dining table with 4 chairs. A glass fronted storage unit incorporating 6 white wine glasses, 6 red wine glasses and 6 tumbler glasses. With a matching draw/cupboard unit. There is a Matching TV unit with flat screen TV, giving English and Spanish digital TV with wall mounted shelf and glass fronted cupboard. A coffee table at each end of the high quality King size double sofa bed, which has an integral sprung mattress and opens in to a full King size double bed in one easy action.
There are double patio doors leading to a good sized south facing terrace overlooking the communal pool, with a table and 2 chairs and an additional small table and 2 chairs with a candle lantern for watching the world go by on those wonderful moonlight nights.
On entering the apartment to your left is a separate large fully fitted kitchen with marble work tops, incorporating a fridge freezer, oven and hob with extractor and microwave oven, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster and an abundance of storage cupboards, containing cutlery, crockery, mugs, cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutting board, waste bin, Iron and ironing board, cleaning materials etc.
Leading off the lounge is a small hall area giving access to a built in wardrobe, large main bedroom and the family bathroom. To the right you have a door to the main bedroom with remote control light/fan, fitted wardrobes housing hangers and towels. The quality double bed lifts up on gas assisted rams giving a huge amount of extra storage for suit cases etc and wooden headboard with 2 matching bed side tables. The bed is fully equipped with linen, pillows and bed cover.
The family bathroom consists of a steel bath with shower over and glass shower screen, a vanity unit with cupboards under and sink with a mirror above with lights/shaving socket and matching toilet and bidet.
We are not finished yet! There is a large private roof garden above the apartment that has water and electricity connected to the apartment. The terrace has solar lighting around the periphery and a quality array of furnishings, from a high quality composite shed with lighting and electricity that houses a kitchenette, fridge with freezer compartment, cupboard, shelving, seating cushions, BBQ tools, , charcoal for the BBQ, clothes dryer and more.
There is a 3.5m x 3.5m Pagola with opening roof, with a Four seater glass table and chairs to dine, lit by decorative lighting. To top it all, there is a beautiful solid fuel BBQ, in addition to this, the roof terrace has a discreet toilet area. The terrace is fully enclosed by a 1.05m wall and lockable gate, three sides of the walls have been extended by 600mm giving a total of appx 1.6m with cane and green foliage giving complete privacy. The foliage has been left off the south facing wall to give views overlooking the pool area and over to the mountains.
