Mirador say that all of phase one is sold. Phase two was started, but all building in Spain has now stopped. A friend was in the offices of Mirador the other day and apparently there was a pile of court summonses on the desk. I don't think Mirador will exist for much longer. Goodness knows where that will leave you people.

I suppose one of you could buy my house, as I'm seriously thinking about getting out. Twice in one day I was spoken to in English by cashiers in supermarkets. It seems the brits are getting their way as usual and the locals are having to learn a foreign language to survive in their own country. Sad, isn't it.

Fact is I have nothing to do with the development. I just happen to live in this village and people ask me questions. I believe lots of folks that follow this list are actually taking action hence my original question.

They have filled the pool (illegally of course - they used a public tap) and I've seen people using it - even though it resembles a building site. I can't imagine the public would want to use it. Lots of people have their own pools and there's the municipal pool where all the kids go.

There's somebody that lurks around this forum that bought 17 houses with loose change from his back pocket. I've forgotten his name, but he should be able to help you.

I'm only asking because apparently our mayor is getting out before he's pushed. He's supposedly been offered a job in Málaga. People keep asking me what's happening as if I should know.

I expect we'll be seeing a few of you folks in the Summer? I hope the weather improves for you, as it's been cold and wet of late.

Enhorabuena a todos.

Did I mention that we have a little Eroski now? Means you don't have to worry about milk and veg and stuff on arrival. Hell, they even sell teabags.

The bad news is that the bar opposite Boli (was Jayne's) now has regular karaoke and acts from down the coast. And what was the english restaurant is now a caff with plastic tablecloths.

When you come visiting, bring some english rain with you please, as the drought is now at its worst in 60 years. Those of you that haven't already done it might like to think about installing a water tank for when the supply goes off. Not a very nice holiday if you can't have a shower.
