Hi All,

We are Tony And Suesan Ackroyd and purchased a Provenza 3 bed in March 2004 witha completion date of November 2006 !!!  We are currently renting a villa which overlooks the Piensa site and there has been a great deal more work being carried out now.  After a number of meetings and discussions with Piensa to find out our completion date we spoke to Yolande who said that they would be starting the foundations on phase 1 at the begining of April with a completion date of 18 months ie October 2009. It has therefore been very interesting to read that a number of people have either been to site or contacted site and been informed that phase 1 will be completed at the end of this year. We were hopfull of arranging a meeting with our solicitor and Piensa for next week but with it being Easter it has been put off until next week.

What is was very interesting with the discussion with our solicitor is he stated that when a builder gets the final licence they then inform all the soilitors acting for the clients purchasing on the site, as yet he has not had any information from Piensa, this may be an oversite !!!!  I would suggest a contact with your solicitor might bring a bit more light to the subject.

If anybody who is comming over would like to meet up,please let us know either by e-mail or by phone, our number is 996199252.

We will keep you up to date with any further information we are able to find out.

Hi All,

We purchased a Provenza, Q3, back in March 2005, with an expected completion date of November 2007. We are looking to be in our villa around March 2009. There are a number of reasons Piensa are late, which have all been discussed before. The two latest hold up's were 1 : there were not enough "green Areas", they reduced the build by aproximately 40% which is why there is a 9 hole pitch & put area and 2 : the licence to build was not granted. We have just been told by Piensa'a main office in San Javier, that they have now got all their licences in place to start building by the middle of February. We are having this checked out by our lawyer as we are now living in Spain.

We have rented a property which overlooks the Piensa site, which we walk round the edges of every day when we take our dog for a walk. They have just started to lay the tarmac on the roads so things are now moving more quickly than before.

Will try to keep you up to date as things progress.

Sue & Tony.
