Of course the government and the politicians will get their snouts in the trough first. I bet we don't get the 7% IVA back from all of our deposits!! In your case Evad, Euros 4620.  Unbelievable. "A Place in the Sun" has got a lot to answer for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Community thread: BUYERS FOR THE BUILDING OF TRAMPOLIN HILLS

Hi Chrissie,

I think you misunderstood me a little. As things stand Royal Dream is not yet in administration, but I think it will only be a matter of time. I was just given the impression that not as much of our money has been spent as our project was a heck of a lot smaller than Trampolin Hills. They had to fund the golf course, hotels, restaurants etc. All that needed commercial investment, which because of all the delays and the recession was never going to happen, yet they spent money promoting it all and in the end could not or would not honour their contracts with their clients.

Personally there is nothing I can do as I have about 14 months before my contract expires. I have seen law firms advertising a fee of 7% of the investment for Trampolin Hills clients to represent them. It seems alot of money but I do not know if this is on a no win no fee basis. What happens if there is nothing or very little left??

I am still waiting to hear the latest information from the law firm I spoke with yesterday.

Regards,

Wayne

Hi All,

I have spoken with a law firm based in Murcia City today who are representing a number of Trampolin Hills clients. I wanted to make sure that I registered as a creditor before the 3 December deadline. I have been told that Solera are not in administration and they are separate companies (which I already knew) therefore could not register as a creditor.  It appears, even if Solera go into insolvency things look better for us on Royal Dream. Trampolin Hills have been using money from client deposits to fund their business dealings but it seems Solera have not done this and there has been no transfer of funds from Solera to Trampolin Hills.

The reason Trampolin Hills is where it is, is because they were taken to court by clients whose contracts had expired and were not paid their money back, as per their contracts.

Because of this situation things are officially going ahead with Royal Dream until we hear otherwise (unless somebody knows different). So come on people. Get this forum busy. The more info the better, even if it's just rumour control.

Has anybody been told by a law firm that they are eligible to be a creditor for Trampolin Hills? Be careful if they promise this, especially if they want money up front. Particularly interested if anyone has been direct to the Commercial Court #2 in Murcia and registered. What were you  told???

Finally, the representative from the law firm I spoke to was going to check with his director for the very latest info on Royal Dream, as they are obviously very bust with Trampolin Hills. If I hear anything different from what I have posted I will let you all know as soon as possible.

Fingers crossed!!!!

Wayne

Hi,

I am buying on Royal Dream, but seeing as the golf membership is part of my investment then it is in my interest to be concerned about Trampolin Hills as well.

I visited the the town hall in Campos del Rio and spoke with the secretary. What Grupo Trampolin have put on their website is more or less what I was told. The project is not yet dead in the water but everyone has the right to expect their contracts are honoured. I for one am prepared to sit tight. Not all investments work out and no one forced me to choose this but the company have built before and it is clear they have put a lot of effort into the design and marketing of this very ambitious project. Just think what could have happened if they had gone ahead and built the place without all the correct licences. We could have all been living in homes costing hundreds of thousandsof pounds but could have been bulldozed by the regional government. This has happened in lots of places just because builders/councillors got greedy and bypassed the law.

I am worried about my deposits and considered buying a resale property at a knock down price but I have decided to hang in there for a while yet because all things considered, if this place is built then I believe it will be fabulous.

Hi All,

For what it's worth I have just spent 2 weeks in the area and visited the offices at  El Trampolin, Trampolin Hills. In addition I called in to the Town Hall at Campos del Rio.

The Town Hall Secretary confirmed that all the ammendments required by them (for Trampolin Hills) have been made and the next stage is in progress but could not confirm when the next meeting with GP will take place.

As for Royal Dream, I am feeling a lot more optimistic than I was. As things stand, I (and probably you) signed a contract for 3 years before I could move to recover my deposits should the development not be finished, so my visit was for the purpose of finding out as much information as possible. I was basically told that all the permissions were in place and that there is no problem with Royal Dream. There is to be a meeting with the authorities in Albudeite in late September and if all goes well then building should start soon after. The news I was given about Trampolin Hills was not as positive, but that was down to technical and various other reasons etc!

Within Grupo Trampolin there are 2 separate companies: Trampolin Hills and ours, El Solera. (I wasn't aware of this)

I asked why it has taken so long. It was explained to me that the land has to be classified for Urbanisation before residential building can take place. (Watch Spain: Paradise Lost to see what can happen without all the correct legalities) Lots of builders and local coucillors gave permission to build without consent from the Regional Governments and they are now being locked away in large numbers.

I was assured that our deposits are in the Bank and the company carries on trading from the income it receives from its'other business interests. In my opinion if the company have done anything illegal then it is up to someone to take them to Court and if guilty or innocent then justice will take its course.

If building does start then I was told that all the plant equipment will be brought in and the development will be built in one go, starting with the roads, pavements utility services etc before the foundations are laid for the villas. This should take approximately 6 months. 2 months before the foundations go down is when you will be contacted to position your villa within its plot and to choose all your fittings and extras etc. It should then take a year to finish the rest of the development.

Of course everyone with money (including me) invested in this project did so for whatever reason and I hope that we all end up with something to show for it. If people such as Andrew Wilford etc have a case then I hope they receive the justice they seek. As for myself I am waiting and hoping and if nothing occurs by the end of my 3 years (in 18 months time) I will assess the situation then and decide on my next course of action.

If anyone wants to message me I can provide more info. I asked as many questions as I could think of and I honestly do believe this development will go ahead. I just hope the value of sterling keeps heading in the right direction!!
