Hi everyone

Has anyone had any luck with finding a snagging company. I have tried about half a dozen firms but nobody seems to be interested unless you are on the Costa Del Sol?

We look forward to seeing you all over a glass of wine or two!!

Hi everyone

I don't know if you noticed on the main eyeonspain chat room forum, that Monarch are stopping flying to Granada from next weekend. If like me you live in the South of England you will either have to get to Stanstead which can be a nightmare of a journey or fly into Malaga and drive from there.

I have emailed Monarch as i think they have been a bit short sighted. As we all know there has been a lot of development in the Granada region over the past couple of years and there still is. I am sure there will be many other buyers who will be collecting the keys to their new properties in 2008 who intended to take full advantage of Monarchs flights directly into Granada especially for long weekends.

If like me you are effected by this, why don't you drop them a line, you never know you may reconsider their strategy!

Looking forward to seeing you all in Iznalloz in 2008!

Julie

Hi everyone

We visited the site at the end of February and took some photo's but am still waiting for my son to show me how to post them on the website!

The day we visited it was pouring down with rain so you can imagine how  bleak and muddy it was but at least we saw the builders working and things seem to be moving ahead after the long wait. We could see the underground parking area and the steels were in place ready to start building upwards, we also saw the first row of the building blocks. We also met with the archtiect as we wanted the dimensions for each of the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were a lot bigger than we envisaged. We were particularily worried about the size of the terrace as hopefully this is where we will be spending a lot of our time, but again we were pleasantly surprised. For those that are interested here are the sizes for a 2 bed 1st floor appartment:

kitchen 4.2m x 2.95m   lounge/diner 7.5m x 2.95m   bedrooms 2.65m x 3.65m bathroom 1.65m x 2.7m terrrace 5.9m x 4.10m

When i know how to post the photo's i will also include a copy of the architects plan of the appartment.

We plan to visit again at the end of September when hopefully the weather will be a lot better, and just think this time next year we could be spending Easter in Iznalloz !
