And did the administrators have the right to publish a list of non payers in the first place? I dont know of any other community where this has happened. It was called  'name and shame' by some but I believe the whole thing was illegal and they were pushed into it by the usual suspects. And where is the shame in refusing to contribute to an illegal unfinished build? As the good doctor has said the whole thing is still illegal up to this very day and it is ignorance of the rights we have in spanish law which has allowed owners and investors to be railroaded into throwing good money after bad. If I refused to pay my coucil tax here in the Uk because of bad roads and unfinished buildings would you expect my neighbours to come round and cut off my utilities?

My advice is to sell up and not pay a penny more until you are out of it.Everyone there should be informed about what is happening instead of reading threads based on hearsay.It is not difficult for presidents or committee members to email owners and let them know problems.i bet many of you used to get regular updates by email from committee members or their partners but of course these dried up when the Mob realised they were better off keeping you all in the dark and springing resolutions on you all at the last minute at general meetings.then it would be too late for opposition.i imagine there is a shortfall in the electric bill, the money paid in is not enough to pay it so they have decided on a plan of action without any consultation as usual.Wonder if all metres will be cranked up?whatever you lot will not find out the truth until april i bet.

I wasnt going to pay a penny more to keep these people's spanish dream going.Do you think they would do the same for you?.

we used to live on el pinet but have now moved away thank god!so much nastiness and bitterness,such two faced people! we know of half a dozen owners who have sold are are trying to sell up because of the bad feeling and cliqueness.residents have taken it on themselves to drive people away who they label as non-payers or whose faces dont fit or have used too much water or electric.its a witch hunt........they will be sorry because the spanish are buying up the aparments and villas and soon the uk residents will be a very small minority who will be  voted off the committees etc and a spanish president will be elected and they will be even more islolated than they are now.....and of course Spain itself may very well be joining Greece in the euro spiral............God help all who hoped for a pleasant sunny life style.
