I cannot belive the guy at Parador was unaware of the problems at ACC, this problem has been going on for years!!.   Surely this is a warning sign.    Are Parador still trying to sell property on ACC,  does anybody know??

This development is a disaster..... yes  and I can hear it now.... a lot of you replying and saying dont bother writing on this site if you are negative.... well if being negative comes after 3 years of chasing my money and the worry for my family and the loss of sleep etc etc etc... yes and I know you have all been there same as me.... well I pulled out and bought elsewhere and have not had the problems that I had with this one.   Good luck to you all because this site is not happening no matter what you think.,   and yes I did lose money but what I lost does not compare to the worry I have been through over the last 3 years like most of you.

Hi

With regards to my 40,000 I found out that my solicitor had not released the funds to Huma.  It was only when I found this this site 18 months ago and discovered that building work had stopped that I contacted Aldea.   They confirmed that building work had stopped and they still had my money which they had not handed over to Huma.  They believed that they were acting professionally by doing this but I would argue that they should have informed me of that the work had stopped.

After many enquiries I confimed that building work had stopped with no help from Aldea or Parador.   It took many phone calls to them and a lot of screaming down the phone (I am ashamed to say)  demanding my money back, that they eventually refunded the money back into my account.   I never received any bank guarantees, so I would say I am one of the lucky ones.

i have totally given up on this project.   I got my 40,000 back and have invested in another country, but i am now wondering where i stand legally, can they make me go ahead with this as i signed a contract in October 2005.   I have no solicitor as I sacked them for lying - Aldea if anyone is interested.

 

Can i walk away, i have lost heart and 3,000, but i think a small price to pay.

 

If anyone could advise me I would be grateful.

can anyone tell me when the building work actually stopped at ACC.   The reason I ask is that I would be interested to know if Parador took my deposit of me, knowing that no work was going on and failed to notify me of this.

I paid my deposit of 3,000 in August 2005.
