Several years ago we purchased an off plan appartment in Spain, unfortunately there were problems and delays and three months after the expected completion date we decided to call in the bank guarantee. However our Lawyer told us the delay was not a good enough reason to do this and we would have to complete. We contacted several other Spanish Lawyers who all said similar things, we were horrified and could not believe it. The agents who we had bought through had promised the bank guarantee would protect us and get our money back should anything go wrong.
Then through Eye on Spain we came across Maria Luisa de Castro and sent her our case for appraisal. Maria was confident she could carry out a simple procedure to execute the bank guarantee. At first we were a little apprehensive about paying out more money and the fact she was saying different to all of the other Lawyers we had contacted. Our gut feeling was to go with her but was it because she was saying what we wanted to hear.
We did move to Costa Luz Lawyers and it was the best decision we made. Alhtough it has taken a couple of years Maria's and her teams confidence, knowledge and hard work paid off and last month our deposit was refunded. She gave us hope when we thought all was lost and restored our faith in the Spanish legal system.
We would not hesitate in recommending Maria and her team to anyone who needs them.
