Hi, I have just arrived home from 2 weeks in our apartment on phase 3b. We have been using the track at the side of the driving range to walk to and from the golf club but only at night, in the dark. On Thursday night at midnight we were confronted by two security guards who would not let us use the tracks to walk back to our apartment. We had to walk the 2.5Km along the road? Before we signed up for the apartment we were told by Anna (Roda Golf) that there would be a route for walking to and from the club house? We have since asked Roda about walking on the tracks and the reply was it is a health and safety issue. So why can the buggy tracks not be used at night?

Hi, we also used MRI and found all the staff that helped us very helpful but never used the MRI office. I understand MRI has not changed its name to DCC and are still trading as MRI. BUT I believe a few directors’ names at DCC are familiar to MRI???? MRI does not like 'bad press' so I would suggest, as I did do a Google search 'MRI DCC' and all will be clear! Hope this helps?

Hi to All

Can I give a warning if you have the same boiler as we do ROCA VICTORIA you should NOT turn the power of to this type of boiler for long periods of time. The boiler is designed to have the power on all the time. This allows the water pump to operate for 15 seconds every 6 hours to prevent the pump seizing! If you turn the mains off when the apartment is not used the boiler pump could become seized.

I have some tech spec PDF's for ROCA VICTORIA 20/20F. In our apartment we had no instruction left of how to use the boiler.  the PDF's explain how to top up the water pressure, setting, errors and faults. Please email me and I can forward the data?

Hi, Les

I did not check the dataMB on Skype but would guess at 10 - 15MB for 30 min voice over internet. Inspectahome are correct but one girl in the shop does not speak English, the blond girl does. To be sure about the signal the only way is to try it or get someone with a Vodafone simm phone to stand in your apartment and see how many signal bars are up! We use Skype with 2 bars in Block 86 3B, and its fine. Vodafone will not let you try a new one on sale or return, it's a 59 Euro risk?

Hi, new to this forum. We have an apartment in 3B block 86. We need a fast connection for my laptop so I have a Spanish Vodafone USB modem from the Vodafone shop at the Dos Mares shops just of the A332 about 10Km from Roda. I paid 59 Euros for the USB modem with 150MB included. It lasts for up to 3 months then 19E for 150MB, 24E for 400MB & 59E for 1GB of data use but you only have 3 months to use it. The signal is not great I get 2 bars in the apartment and 3 bars on the roof but it is at HSDPA 3G speeds so voice over Skype is fine. Downloads also seem fine.
