what about manilva..  and what about duquesa..  duquesa looks fantastic..   but what the tourits and distance from marbella... whats the likelyhood of finding somewhere in duquesa...talking about rennovation opportunities?? any ideas please ????

YEH THATS GREAT.!!! NO PROBLEMS AT ALL ABOUT THE THREAD DRIFT...WAS JUST COMPRING TH STORIES TO MINE AND QUITE ENJOYED THE FACT THAT THEY ARE ALL QUITE SELF OBSESSED EATING MACHINES!!.. ONLY FOR A LITTLE WHILE ..  AND THEN THE HORNS DISAPPEAR AND THEY ARE LOVELY KIDS AGAIN. AMUSING ....

I am new to EOS. I have found the site very interesting and amusing so far. New to this site but not the Costa. ! However, I still need help with my hunt for a little Spanish gem in a town on the coast. Hope that somebody can help. Manilva, Benahavis, Casares, Ojen.......where do i go.??? Desperately looking for the real Spain!! Far from the madding crowd ..but not too far !!! HELP

I'm new to this site, just had a good look through, and really enjoyed some of the content. love benahavis and was wondering if there are anymore towns along the coast that anyone can recommend. My family has spent many happy years holidaying on the costa del sol. we now have a five year plan ! we wish to find a town house in a pretty village/town along the coast and start a b&b. how original eh! anyway...Benahavis is beautiful and ideally located but old original spanish properties are nearly impossible to find. someone has suggested Manilva. any other ideas. I would welcome any tips/suggestions. Anywhere within 1 hour of the coast would be considered between Manilva and Marbella.
