We have had floods at La Torre las twee and again today.  Some of the apartments on Los Tilos, Abadajo ar built on an old river flow and the heavy rain has meant floods.  Feel sorry for those who have been flooded out.  raining again tonight!!

Like a lot of people on La Torre I have paid my Community fees and as far as I know, until we receive our statement from Admiburgos, I am up to date. I am totally fed up with some people, especially speculators, not paying their fees and being subsidised by the rest of us.  I hope the community begins court action soon to retrieve funds that should have been paid and I see no problem with the mini communities being responsible for their own budget and services.  This is the way it is on other developments, and generally the way it is in spain.  When in Spain etc.

Gym was open for a short while before christmas.  Then there was a leak and the ceiling came down in the changing rooms so gym closed.  In usual fashion Polaris is not forthcoming with info as to when it will open again.  In the short time it was open no fee was asked and no membership required.

I live on La torre and only those people with a ticket were allowed to eat in the town centre restaurants that night.  This cause quite a lot of bad feeling as residents were shut out of their town centre and had to leave the site to eat unless they wanted a buffet meal in Enchina.  When September rolls around i wonder if Polaris World will realise how many people they upset by this ruling because a number of people have said they will not use the on site restaurants now.
