Hello everyone

We have just returned from a two week break ito our house on phase 1. We were very fortunate having had to wait only 6 months for completion, we signed over in Dec' 05. We have been over several times and absolutely love the house and its location. I feel very sorry for those of you awaiting completion. There are only a few working on phases 1&2, mainly doing remedial or finishing work. Most of the properties appear to be complete on phases 1&2 with the exception of the large detached houses, which appear to be nearing completion. There was no work taking place on the houses on phase 3, they are still at the concrete skeletal state as 2 months ago, our neighbours who live there permenantly say nothing has been done on them since the end of last year. A few workers were seen to be working on the flats on phase 3. There are many unsettling rumours about the builders re being taken over or having gone bust, and it may be appropriate for you who are still in limbo to instruct your solicitors to earn their fees and to establish whether there is any foundation to these stories. One of the strongest rumours is that they have had to sell off some land and whilst we were there strong substantial fencing was set up enclosing phase 4 (the area adjacent to the park all the way down in the direction of Lidl supermarket,) and the whole area of where phases 5 & 6 were to have been built.

We are still face with having to look out onto what was originally builders rubble but what now has turned into a general rubbish tip.

Unfortunately we won't be out again until August, but if I hear anything from my neighbours I will update you.
