Hi Everyone

Brian and I were due to complete on our property 072F on La Isla but Brian suffered a second heart attack 2 weeks ago and has been told by the Doctors that he will not be well enough to keep travelling backwards and forwards to Spain.  So we are left in a very serious predicament and will not be able to complete with the property.  This means as far as we know that we will lose all the money that we have invested and paid to Polaris.  We are devastated and gutted - we have waited 2 years and were so near to completing but as I always say you cannot predict your health and we are just unlucky.  Has anyone any idea how we might be able to sell the apartment or any other ideas about how we can get our money back.  We have sent all the medical letters to Polaris but they do not seem that interested.  I dont know which way to turn and obviously Brian feels so guilty that we could lose all the money.  Sorry to sound depressing but our dreams have been shattered.

Hi everyone

Just returned from visit to La Isla and wanted to confirm that there will only be 2 swimming pools built.  Also the Oasis has been put on hold with no start date pending yet. The Bar and gymnasium on La Isla has also been cancelled and will never happen so disappointing to say the least.  We feel it needs cafes, restaurants just for a meeting place for people on La Isla but hey when you buy offplan and with the recession I suppose you have to accept it.

I have to say the apartments were smaller than what we thought but we feel in 5 - 10 years time the entire place will probably be great.  However, they are sadly lacking in facilities and most people we spoke to had bought for rental only and were not going to use the apartment for themselves at all - so we think it would probably be lacking in community spirit.

I just wish that PW had been honest with us when we contacted them instead of promising things.

Thanks for your reply - are you pleased with your apartment - we are 72F on La Isla.  Also do you rent a car when you go there - any details would be good.

How do I get in touch with the contacts - do I just start another thread - sorry to be such a pain but it is all so new to us.

We are coming over to La Isla on 23rd September and need accommodation for two nights - has anyone an apartment to rent for these days and if so how much.

Also how far is Murcia airport to La Isla.

Do you know if we are able to get on the site as we have not yet completed but want to view the apartment.

Any information would be very welcome.
